How Catholic Money Funded Obama's Community Organizing

One of the untold stories in the Obama campaign is how his background in community organizing has direct links to Catholic funding -- from the Catholic Campaign for Human Development of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. (web site)

Catholic journalist Stephanie Block has been writing about the CCHD for many years, but it has been difficult to stimulate any serious concern about their funding the innocuous sounding activity of "community development." Innocuous or not, Obama years as a community organizer were supported, in part, by Catholic money dispersed by the USCCB.

When the church embraced moral relativism, they started failing, membership began dropping, churches closing. a severe paucity of leadership. He who believes in nothing falls for anything. And it breaks my heart!

I just shared this with some very strong Catholics knowing they will share it with others.

CCHD will never get another red dime from me, I wish I could get refunded for the money I have given in the past.

I wonder what the percentage is of conservative versus liberal in the Catholic denomination.

Laurie, I can tell you it's very high in this area. Even though the people sound conservative, the majority do vote for the

candidate, no matter what his beliefs!

Our congressman, a catholic, always votes FOR abortion and seems to believe everything the

sses are for!

Guess this is an eye-opener for all denominations to consider what they are contributing to! SAD that so many have been fooled.
