Don't Go Wobbly; Follow Sarah
By David Limbaugh
October 7, 2008
There are many reasons that Sarah Palin is energizing the conservative base. It's not just her authenticity, freshness, noble defense of traditional values, and vivaciousness. This lady is finally giving red-state conservatives a voice, and she's taking it to the other side without apologies.
Democrats are crying foul because she's confronting Barack Obama for his worrisome attitudes about America and his way-more-than-casual association with unrepentant domestic terrorist William Ayers. Some squeamish conservatives are counseling that we ignore this issue either because it is unpleasant and unfair or that it's a distraction from the "substantive" issues.

Re: Don't Go Wobbly; Follow Sarah
You can DEFINITELY add me to the list . . . . I've had enough for sure. It's about time to take off the gloves and go "bare knuckle" against the whiney Libs. It seems to have been okay for them to subtly toss mud around without repercussion. Now that the ball is in the other court, they tuck and run, crying FOUL!!! The difference is that we are telling the truth.
Here's a few little tidbits I received today. The exact stats might not be current, but you get the idea.
Body count in the last 6 months: 292 killed (murdered) in Chicago vs. 221 killed in Iraq. (...and it might also be said that Chicago also has a strict gun control!)
Senators Barack Obama & Dick Durbin, Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr., Gov. Rod Blogojevich, House leader Mike Madigan, Atty. Gen. Lisa Madigan (daughter of Mike), Mayor Richard M. Daley (son of Mayor Richard J. Daley)...the entire leadership in Illinois ...all Democrats.
Thank you for the combat zone in Chicago. Of course they're all blaming each other. They can't blame Republicans, there aren't any!
The State pension fund is $44 Billion in debt, the worst in the nation. The Cook County (Chicago) sales tax is 10.25% highest in country. The Chicago school system is one of the worst in the nation. This is the political culture that Obama comes from in Illinois. He's gonna 'fix' Washington politics? Yeah ......Right!!

From the reaction of Barry's camp, seems to me that the truth hurts. God Bless Sarah.

Re: Don't Go Wobbly; Follow Sarah
As usual, Mr. Limbaugh nails it perfectly. The democrats have no ground to stand on when it comes to civility, honesty or integrity.
"Psychotic Catharsis", a brilliant description of the left and their political assassination of Pres. Bush and VP Cheney for 8 long years.
It's all up to McCain now. Tonight is in my opinion the make or break moment in the campaign. If McCain persists in not wanting to directly sling some mud, (facts in this case), then he's doomed. Effectively, McCain needs to call a spade a spade.
With the democrats virtually stealing the election in Ohio, (Register Now/Vote Now), the hill is going to be much more difficult to climb. We don't need McCain being voted "Most Valuable Player" by the democrats.
Senator McCain, how about calling out those mainly responsible for the mortgage debacle? I'll help you with the first one ... Barney Frank. Then there is the matter of Franklin Raines.
Please do not allow your civility, your honesty and your integrity to get in the way of explaining to the American people exactly what they're going to get with Obama. Make this a fair fight.

Re: Don't Go Wobbly; Follow Sarah
If this was one of the Republican convention speeches I believe we would have been so far ahead of Obama it would knock his socks off. What a great way to describe how we, the American people of tradition, feel about this. WHY can't the Republicans see that?
We see Democrats driving around with their snarky bumper stickers, "Had Enough?" and think to ourselves: "Yes, we've had enough of the lies. We've had enough of the assault on traditional values and the sanctity of life. We've had enough of tearing America down. We've had enough of the mainstream media being in the tank for Democrats and Barack Obama -- then shamelessly denying it. We've had enough of Bush Derangement syndrome. We've had enough of their resistance to taking the terrorist threat seriously. We've had enough of the class and race warfare that threaten the social fabric of our society and the economic underpinnings of this nation. We've had enough false allegations of voter intimidation from Democrats who turn right around and threaten criminal prosecution against those who criticize their presidential candidate. We've had enough of liberal candidates deceitfully denying their liberalism. We've had enough of incendiary charges of racism against Republicans such as Sarah Palin for daring to suggest that Barack Obama doesn't see 'America like you and I see America.'"
Thank you for speaking out and becoming a voice for so many that would like to hear these very words from our candidate and party.

Since when was politics supposed to be touchy feely? Go back to when Lincoln debated, back to where our founding fathers basically told others where to stick it, including King George. We have become such a nation of passionless, metro sexual mamby pamby that it is hard to tell the difference between sides. Men removing hair from their chests, my God let men be men and women be women. God gave us brains, a mouth, and emotions-tell it like it is!

Re: Don't Go Wobbly; Follow Sarah
I have been upset for eight years of the Bush bashing from the left without any replies. They tried it with Reagan and he handed them their heads. Of course, George Bush is no Ronald Reagan but just some refuting of the lies would have helped. However,if anyone watched the stump speech McCain gave in Albuquerque yesterday you could see the gloves come off. He was fired up and was following Sarah's lead and hit Obama with everything but the kitchen sink. Hopefully tonight he will present "The Chosen One" with that also.

Time is running out for McCain and for the USA if he fails to Follow the advice of David Limbaugh and all of the people who have written on this thread.
I hope and pray that he is listening and will rise to the challenge.

Re: Don't Go Wobbly; Follow Sarah
poppi has some good talking points that Palin or McCain should use.
Other than that I whole-heartedly agree with Governor Palin laying out the facts on this infiltrator Barak. Notice the Rezco prosecutors are delaying his sentencing until the election is over: this corruption and protection of Barak is insane. Nail his butt to the wall before we pay him Presidential salary his entire freakin' life. Palin needs to nail Michelle too, her current job was a hand-out from the Chicago mayor who is tied into the Rezco - Barak ordeal. That Mayor will be indicted when Rezco is sentenced and Michelle will be untouchable from Presidential privilege. THE TIME IS NOW or never. I wish Palin could be there tonight and prompt McCain and give him the words to say and maybe have a tazer to get him in motion. McCain had better be a killer line backer going after the ducking and dodging quarterback tonight otherwise this is over. Barak has no allegiance to this Country.

Like the Governor said, "the heels are on and the gloves are off” The trouble is, the guy on the top of her ticket hasn't gotten the message yet. If he fails to excel in tonight’s debate, I am afraid our great nation is in jeopardy of slipping towards socialism, and the worst - Obama probably naming 3 Supreme Court Justices with not enough conservatives to stop them. I fear the worst, I just don't think the old dog has it in him!
