Default Still A Train Wreck

By Carol Devine-Molin
September 29, 2008

In the end, the House Republicans got some of what they wanted on this bailout scheme that would ostensibly avert economic collapse in the wake of the subprime mortgage meltdown. The financial sector would have to provide insurance for their mortgage-backed securities at no expense to the taxpayers, and Leftist activist groups such as voter fraud-perpetrating ACORN would be shut off from monies in this particular bill. But rest assured, the Democrat politicos are not going to abandon their brethren.

You can bet your bottom dollar that these Leftist "community organizers" from ACORN and La Raza will find other means of accessing government slush funds thanks to their pals in the Democrat Party, who are well capable of adding provisions to other legislation that fund Leftist political action organizations. Oh, I guess we're not supposed to remind our fellow Americans that Barack Obama had close links with the reprobates over at the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN). But that, as they say, is a conversation for another time.

Here's some great facts about the collapse. Who caused it, who profited from it and who's hiding behind it. Check it out and send it on . . .

You can hit pause to read something if it moves too fast for you.

I think most of us knew all this, but our liberal "friends" either don't KNOW it or don't WANT people to know . . . .

why is ACORN getting any of my tax money? I seiously doubt that the founding fathers intended for community organizers to be getting our tax money. they would be shocked athe bloated fat pig that the goverment has become.

I agree with Jack Virtus. Why would our tax dollars be going to a known entity that has violated campaign laws, enabled and promoted voter fraud and other illegal activities? ACORN is not on my list of approved charities that's for sure. It seems that Sheik Obama was involved knee-deep in ACORN and if McCain's campaign can't bring this to daylight then McCain needs to take that lease on another retirement home in Arizona.

Those living in Connecticut and Massachusetts should be especially proud of their two-thirds of the 3 Stooges, (Chris Dodd and Barney Frank). Those voters that continued to return these groundbreaking idiots over and over to the Senate need to be charged double on their part of paying for this bailout. Matter of fact, those two states should be responsible for the entire bailout.

I just thought I was pissed off last week... This is a new week.

As usual the Dems and their media cohorts have embarked on a politically motivated sweep to blame Republicans for their own socialization program failure. I would prefer that Republican's in Congress let the Dems sink or swim on their own for this bailout, especially if it involves taxpayers purchasing bad debt instead of loaning money for it, but at least they are insisting on no pork for ACORN and not allowing judges to strong-arm lending institutions into a court mandated contract with lenders.

I do not hold a Ph.D in economics, finances, or business. But I do know this: Do not spend more than you can pay back, and if you don't work hard for something, you shouldn't expect someone else to pay for it.

Our government has done both of these things, and now they come to us - the obviously disconnected public - to solve the mess they created.

JUST SAY NO! Get your hand out of my pocket!
Punish the culprits who broke the public trust and got us into this mess! Elect a more conservative slate of REPRESENTATIVES who will truly do government work on BEHALF of the PEOPLE, not a section of our population that wants a free ride.

When did we become a socialist form of government?

We'd better wake up before there's no chance of returning to what our founding fathers had envisioned.

The Justus Department should investigate any person or organization that receives ACORN funds, as well as any individual who helps allocate ACORN funds!

The Founding Fathers laid their lives on the line to establish a new country. The values they wrote into the Contitution and the Bill of Rights are ignored and degrded every day by the left and those who use my tax dollars for their personal political gain.

It just great that the politicians get to pay politics with our money? As reported last night on Fox it is said that the GOP is not happy with this bailout plan and most will not say yes to it. Fancy Nancy and Seedy Reidy gave everyone less then 24 hours to read the 106 page bailout plan and want a vote this morning but the GOP say no way. It will pass, make no bones but it will have to pass with the majority of dems votes and that will make them look like the bad guys and as it should be. And this bailout is not what we are led to believe. They say they want to limit the ceos payout but from what was reported it will only be for those ceos that are hired after these presents ones leave with lots of our money. What a disgraced.

I constantly wonder WHY McCain or his associates don't shout from the rooftops that this was a Democrat set up from the beginning! Why?? Even if he doesn't want to point the finger, someone on TV needs to poin this out so that those that don't seach the truth may still hear it!

By all means, hit the link Poppi provided. It will be more of an eye opener than a shot of Scotch.
