Biden calls paying higher taxes a patriotic act

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden said Thursday that paying more in taxes is the patriotic thing to do for wealthier Americans. The Republican campaign for president calls the tax increases their Democratic opponents propose "painful" instead of patriotic.

Under the economic plan proposed by Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, people earning more than $250,000 a year would pay more in taxes while those earning less -- the vast majority of American taxpayers -- would receive a tax cut.

"We want to take money and put it back in the pocket of middle-class people," Biden said in an interview on ABC's "Good Morning America."

Biden (#2 on the list) and other liberals have been on the receiving end of huge donations from Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac.............is anyone asking what these companies were doing by contributing to politicians at all?

It might be "patriotic" of Biden, given the current financial condition in this country, to give that money back! Don't hold your breath.

Old saying - Many hands make light work. Perhaps Mr. Biden did know this old saying when he made his remark about ones patriotic duty to pay higher taxes. Mr. Biden is a part of the Wasington establishment, and therefore a part of the problem. After all - who has controlled congress for the past two years.

Tax the rich, give to the poor. This sounds like Mr. Obama's communist education from Columbia U.

While any form of patriotism by left, Obama, Biden, definition is of individual self-love, AMERICAN PATRIOTS are of this nations love. The individuals that allowed the recent housing, stock market, implosion were of, and for, the individual. Individual patriots taxing our national security, and the "fundamental" powers of this nation. THE PEOPLE, blindsided by greedy individuals hiding behind liberal left legislation, and actions of those beholding to its factious controls. Individual powers of a liberal left monopoly on social services, and the desires of those dependent on it. A system that has taken any incentive away from a fundamental working America, replaced by an America of individual democracy.

These wingnuts are under the impression that government powers are the ones to fix every problem, and do not want to be bothered by anything that might interrupt their daily lives. While they might complain of higher taxes they accept it as a necessary payment so they do not need to deal with it. You see them after every disaster affecting their lives, whether natural, or man made. The left thrives on this turbulance, and turmoil, and have never fixed its cause. They allow it to continue, if undetected by the people, then when it raises its ugly head, deny previous knowledge of, and place the blame elsewhere. Left patriots are not taxed of personal time, or effort, in finding solutions, but their patriotism shines with the time, and efforts, of others.

I was wondering Mr. Invisable would finally open his mouth and this is what comes out! With all the programs Obama wants the tax-payers to foot, I guess now is the time to start talking about how much his welfare programs are going to cost. I can hardly wait for the debates!!
