Palin's Sudden Popularity Has Feminists In A Snit
By Bonnie Chernin Rogoff
September 8, 2008
"Feminism was established so as to allow unattractive women access to the mainstream of society." - Rush Limbaugh's Undeniable Truths of Life, #24
Feminists have shown their true colors in response to Gov. Sarah Palin. They demeaned her family and accomplishments. Any insult that would diminish her qualifications for vice president was fair game.
Though Gov. Palin's speech was flawlessly delivered and received, a great speech does not guarantee a winning campaign. However, it is significant that when the teleprompter failed, she didn't miss a beat and came up with the unscripted "Read My Lipstick" line. This shows that our GOP nominee has wit and poise.

Re: Palin's Sudden Popularity Has Feminists In A Snit
The feminists are more than "in a snit" about Sarah Palin . . . they are livid! She is outside their "movement" and she began her political career, not out of personal ambition, but as a PTA mom with concerns for her children's education. She has the audacity to be pro-life . . . and God forbid . . . she chose to bring a child into this world who isn't perfect. How dare she!
Sarah Palin has shown she is unapologetic about her family by inviting them on-stage the night of her GOP acceptance speech. She refused to "keep under wraps" even her Down Syndrome baby or pregnant teen daughter because that's who Sarah Palin is -- a proud American woman, with strong values and convictions, who believes in herself and her country; she has a successful career as well as a mother dealing with the issues that many American women face. And that's what infuriates the ultra-liberal, radical feminists most of all. It is National Organization of Women who have changed . . . and that change has not been in keeping with the values of the majority of moderate and conservative thinking American women -- the women who identify with Sarah Palin!
Sarah Palin shows real courage -- and so does John McCain for picking her as his VP candidate.

The feminist should be over joyed at Palin being the V.P. pick of McCain but no, Sarah isn't their kind of woman. In other words, she isn't a liberal.

Re: Palin's Sudden Popularity Has Feminists In A Snit
When feminism first came on the scene, many of its objectives seemed reasonable--like equal pay for equal work. But is wasn't long before they morphed into a bunch of man-hating harridans who were willing to destroy anyone who thought differently than they did.

Feminists are just bitter, mean women who never made it in high school cliques. And emotionally, never got OUT of high school.
Women can be vipers to other women and are frequently their own worst enemy. This unreasonable hatred of Palin is just one, huge example.

The following is from the Bnet web site and concerns the numbers of NOW otherwise known as the National Organization of Women. Why such a small number of women should purport to speak for all women is totally beyond my comprehension.

Concerning the membership numbers, it is difficult to know if NOW is telling the troth but, according to Ragab, most local leaders sense that the publicized numbers are far from accurate. "Whether NOW carries 90,000, 50,000 or 125,000 members is next to irrelevant in a population of almost 300 million, particularly when a membership has proved as notoriously passive as NOW's," says Ragab. "The problem is not about fudging membership figures a bit -- most membership-based groups do that -- the problem is the degree to which these so-called women leaders conspire to deceive the public for stardom and money."

What we do know is that these "feminists" are anything but feminine. They are a nasty, caterwauling bunch of screeching dissidents who deserve no attention whatever!

Feminists are liberal first and above all else. They're women second or even farther down the list.
I can think of no other place I want feminists than in a snit, or a box buried in a deep hole would be a good place too.

I'm sorry but every time I think of NOW, I picture their poster child Janet Reno. She was about the only female Hillary half way trusted Bill around.

I was about to say the same thing. I just shake my head seeing the liberal woman going around saying,' but, but, what do we do now'?
They wanted a strong woman in a high office, except if it is a Republican woman, plan a simple.
