Malkin: Why Obama's 'Community Organizer' Days Are a Joke
By Michelle Malkin
September 5, 2008
Rudy Giuliani had me in stitches during his red-meat keynote address at the GOP convention. I laughed out loud when Giuliani laughed out loud while noting Barack Obama's deep experience as a "community organizer." I laughed again when VP nominee and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin cracked: "I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a 'community organizer,' except that you have actual responsibilities."
Team Obama was not amused. (Neither were the snarky left-wingers on cable TV who are now allergic to sarcasm.) They don't get why we snicker when Obama dons his Community Organizer cape. Apparently, the jibes rendered Obama's advisers sleepless. In a crack-of-dawn e-mail to Obama's followers hours after Giuliani and Palin spoke, campaign manager David Plouffe attempted to gin up faux outrage (and, more importantly, donations) by claiming grave offense on the part of community organizers everywhere. Fumed Plouffe:

Re: Malkin: Why Obama's 'Community Organizer' Days Are a Joke
I have a brother and a son-in-law, both typical "moderates" who pay little attention to details but think that they do. They primarily watch ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN. They do not surf the net.
Here is my point:
1. They do not know of ACORN, their illegal activities, or Obama's "community organizing" for them.
2. They never heard of Bill Ayers' association with Obama, barely remember the Weatherman terrorist organization.
3. They believe Obama is the face of change because Republicans are the out-of-control BIG SPENDERS
4. They think IRAQ was the wrong war
5. They are not sure who to vote for!!!
Here is my point (again):
Unless the networks begin to carry the story about The Messiah's long time relationship with Bill Ayers there will never be a "big negative" perception on Obama.
Forget about ACORN, that is too difficult to explain in 30-60 seconds.
Write letters to the networks demanding that they investigate these very serious (true) allegations.

Re: Malkin: Why Obama's 'Community Organizer' Days Are a Joke
If the news outlets received a million letters demanding they investigate Obama they would be thrown in to the trash and never even considered for any reporting or investigation at all. they are on the wrong side and are owned by people outside the USA and do not want us living as we live . It is a communist plot to ruin our way off life, Obama does not have any experience and to hold up his experience as running his campaign is totally over the top .His campaign is going broke just like the government will go broke if he wins. We can not depend on the news any more we will have to get our news else where .

Community Organizer, indeed. All these rabble rousers do is point people to the public trough and lobby for more of the same, leaving people dependent and in love with Big Government that is now their Big Friend.
FDR started this 75 years ago and the sole purpose is to make people believe they can't possibly do anything on their own; the deck is stacked against them. Thus, we have the rationale for Big Government: The People demand it!
We need to do all we can to expose and belittle those who are expounding this Big Lie.

Re: Malkin: Why Obama's 'Community Organizer' Days Are a Joke
No one should ever be allowed to fill out a voter registration form for anyone unless that person is so disabled that the can do it for themselves. Giving voter registration forms out is fine but the voter should have to send them in for themselves. Registering to vote is EASY!
ACORN should be shutdown as a criminal organization based upon the amount of criminal activity the organization has been caught doing.
Obama would be a joke if it were not for the fact that people are buying him as being for real change. He is pushing and just represents the same old leftist and socialist policies that have caused the problems.

"Community organizer?" They are more like a political shakedown artist.

Much like the shake downs of Jessie Jackson.
Tony Soprano sure missed out on that Racket, or did he? I think he may have been pretty close to that action.

I agree NewRepublican. C-Span featured The Women's National Republican Club about three weeks ago. The featured speakers were
Star Parker-R. Coalition on Urban Renewal & Education
Jessie Lee Peterson-R National Black Republican Association
Deneen Borelli-R
Project 21
Star spoke on the black churches, their roll in support of Obama in face of evidence his Maxist activities and beliefs.
Jessie Lee Peterson , warned that if Obama gets into office, we can expect the worst kind of racial unrest this country has yet to witness.
The Republican Party has been ignoring this. I'm hopeful that Sarah Palin won't be timid about this. She's squared up on everything else.
