Default Palin: Democrats spreading misinformation and lies

By SARA KUGLER
Associated Press
September 5, 2008

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin on Thursday blamed supporters of the Democratic presidential ticket for spreading "misinformation and flat-out lies" about her and her family.

But her spokeswoman said Obama's campaign was not responsible, even though a Palin fundraising letter named the Democratic ticket with the words: "the Obama-Biden Democrats have been vicious in their attacks directed toward me, my family and John McCain."

The Obama campaign has raised questions about Palin's qualifications based on her six years as mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, and less than two years as governor, but Obama himself has said her family should be off-limits. He also said he would fire any staffer who talks about it.

Of course Obama isn't going to let any person in his "Campaign" talk about it but he doesn't seem to want to stop anyone else who supports him or his equally Leftist running mate.
I have never seen such a brigade of hate mongers come out of the Democrat party. The Democrats have lost control and the Socialists have taken the name. Kennedy and Truman are probably spinning in their graves.
The bad thing is that the McCain Feingold bill allowed these enclaves of the radical Left to do and say whatever they want and they're impervious to any kind of criticism, constructive or otherwise.
I think McCain's record speaks for itself. He has done things I would question. On the other hand, he's going in a direction that can revitalize the country, not destroy it as the Neo-Dems want to do.

Some of the slime in the news media are worse for "twisting the truth into lies." I'm glad to have remote control over the TV news sources.

Asked who was to blame, the spokeswoman said, "You want me to tick through all the stuff that's been ticking through all the blogs the past few days? What about the stuff that was on Daily Kos, that rumor that was spread?"

Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton said "the only 'flat-out lie' is this ridiculous claim, and it proves that John McCain has wasted no time in teaching Sarah Palin the ways of the Washington he's inhabited for the last 26 years."

What has this idiot been smoking this last week?
He's the first to call her a small town Mayor placed one heart beat away and now said that all the crap in the Daily Kooks was just Palin telling lies. I'd like to see him call her a liar face to face.

I'd buy a ticket to see that!

I can't wait to watch C-Span cover the Senate with her in the chair to slap down Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer.

I don't know what the fuss is about, because the NeoDem attack machine actions were entirely predictable. Just wait until they really panic, when they see McCain-Palin stock go sky-high. Stick around, you ain't seen nothin' yet!

This is what the Dems and their partner in crime, the liberal MSM, will do when facing criticisms for their lying...

Now, the American public had a chance to see the difference between the two Parties and is beginning to see why Obama's socialist/anti-American agenda is bad for the economy and this country. That is why Obama and the entire Democratic Party are in a panic mode and are lying and fighting vigorously to win this election, and most, if not all, of the media is refusing to help GOP with their campaign effort.

We know what are at stake here: the White House (since now the U.S. Congress is controlled by the Dems) and appointed-for-life Justices. If these three branches fall into the hands of the liberals, then may God help us all. But let us not let things get that far.

So, we need to, first of all, tell people to get registered to vote, then do whatever we can to help McCain win this election by volunteering at the local Republican Headquarters and/or contributing financially to the McCain campaign, and help GOP candidates that are running for your district win. And let us not forget to support all those conservative propositions that you will be voting on in your own state.

Why should the Democratic response take anyone by surprise? They are now in shear panic over one of the best picks for VP ever made.
For those idiots that think Palin has any skeletons in the closet. They are simply deceiving themselves.
She ran for governor against a corrupt Republican governor. Don't you think his staff would have searched every nook and crany to find something that they could use politically against her.
The simple facts are she has the Democratic party in terror of their irresponsible choice of Obama. He obviously was not vetted.
Palin is a god fearing, gun carrying, family and country loving Amercan. That in itself puts fear into the hearts of every liberal democrat.
Her selection is basically shutting down the polically correct, America hating and socialist democratic agenda.

Has anybody heard of this guy, Mark Kleiman? I Googled him and it sems he's beenaround for a while and is actually given creedence.

Anyway, I recieved this "Palin vs. Reality" email today, that some of my independent, having-not-made-up their minds-yet, friends of mine are really believing. I'd like to find a site that could refute these. If anyone knows of where to direct me, so I could direct my friends, I'd be most appreciative.

Here's what's circulating:

Quote:
REALITY: PALIN ONLY ANNOUNCED OPPOSITION TO ONE “BRIDGE TO NOWHERE,” STILL SUPPORTS THE OTHER ONE

Palin Refused to Fund Ketchikan Bridge, But Did Not Stop Funding for Knik Arm Bridge.“ Among the earmarks: $449 million for what critics have ridiculed as two ‘bridges to nowhere’ -- one in Ketchikan and one across Knik Arm in Anchorage formally named Don Young's Way. Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, also a Republican, last month refused to use any more money for the Ketchikan project, redirecting it for other purposes.” [Anchorage Daily News,11/11/07]

As Recently as June, State Asking for Cost Estimate Proposals for Knik Arm. “An independent party will be called in to look at one of the most elusive aspects of a proposed bridge linking Anchorage and Mat-Su: the price tag. Gordon Keith, regional director for the state Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, said his office will be putting the job of estimating the cost of the controversial project out for bids in coming weeks. He said the task of coming up with a price could cost up to $200,000 and take up to 3½ months. ‘The issue keeps swirling around, so we thought it best to go ahead and do an independent estimate,’ he said. The cost to get the estimate is going to be high ‘if you want to do it correctly,’ he said. The cost of a span reaching across Knik Arm from Anchorage to Point MacKenzie has ranged over the years from $450 million to $1 billion, depending on what kind of bridge is envisioned and what starting date is plugged into the formula… Randy Ruaro, a special assistant to Gov. Sarah Palin, said the administration, even in the face of the recent lengthy report from the bridge authority, was having trouble getting an accurate picture of everything that is involved in the project, of the timing of the phases, and of the costs. He said the independent estimate is expected to answer those questions. Mary Ann Pease, spokeswoman for the authority, said she welcomes the effort to get updated costs.” [Anchorage Daily News, 6/22/08]

PALIN: “Senator McCain also promises to use the power of veto in defense of the public interest - and as a chief executive, I can assure you it works.”

Much, much more here including a huge section on how she increased instead of cut taxes. HELP!!!
