Default Savaging Sarah Palin

By Brent Bozell
September 3, 2008

When MSNBC's Chris Matthews suggested in Denver that Barack Obama earned his present elevation in American politics, unlike "showcase appointments" like Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice, he reminded the world of the peculiarity of liberalism. John McCain's selection of Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate underlined it. Liberals find no joy when Republicans select women or minorities for top positions. They are all fraudulent traitors to their own apparent group interests. Conservative blacks aren't really black. Conservative Latinos aren't really Latino. Now, conservative women are somehow not really women.

Newsweek's Eleanor Clift spoke for her colleagues on the Palin selection: "If the media reaction is anything, it's been literally laughter in many places ... In very, very many newsrooms."

As a McCain-Palin supporter, I'd like to thank The Washington Post for repeatedly characterizing Sarah Palin as "a conservative with strong antiabortion views." They think they're putting her down but they're really helping us get out the message.

I find the savaging of Sarah Palin to be disgusting. She deserves better treatment than that.

The real problem with democrats is that they don't have any core values.

I question if they have any values at all.

They certainly do not put the country before themselves.

If anything, the savaging also shows us that the democrats are running scared, and the savaging is their cowardly way in which they try to intimidate her into pulling out.

Sarah, if you are reading this, I want you to know that we in my household support you 100% and will be there to vote unless God removes us from the world before then.

Thank you for accepting the offer as Vice President. We look forward to voting for you.

I wonder how much they'll be laughing when McCain and Palin are in the Whitehouse.

I say, let 'em laugh now. They'll have some tears to shed in a few months.

Sarah Palin is a great choice as VP and my respect for her is not only for her but for all American women who stand with her and her values. Palin's critics are critics against American women who share her values and those critics are just plain on the wrong side of the American values. The issues these critics point out are values Americans believe in, values this Country was founded on. Palin has fired people along the way, these fired people were like the people we have in government today that do not serve the people (they control the people). We, this Country, are free. We don't need controlled. Palin represents me, a man, as much as a man does, her values and my values match. Palin's courage is the encouragement American men and women with Constitutional values need. McCain hit pay dirt with me.

I still think Obama has unleashed his "Brown Shirts" and his MSM propaganda corps to attack Sarah's family because they cannot counter her record. He keeps refuting any suggestion of involvement but anyone that can out maneuver the Clinton Political machine can covertly do this. He has learned Chicago politics very well.

Having witnessed Eleanor Clift's shrill, usually inane and always hopelessly biased commentary on the McLaughlin program, I am sure that most of the newsroom laughter is conducted - behind Eleanor's back!

These news-hen harpies just cannot deal with a lovely, intelligent and successful CONSERVATIVE woman, who exposes their pettiness, and back-stabbing envy - simply by being herself.

What can you expect from the msm yellow-journalists? After all, look at how they, their DemocRAT party and the Obama Campaign treated one of their own - Hillary Clinton. Hillary didn't loose the nomination, the DemocRAT higher ups gave Obama delegates in the MI race that he wasn't even entered into in order to secure his nomination by selection and not election.

The harder they try their smear tactics on this middle class blue collar family, the more American's will see their true deficit of decency (as Zell Miller coined it).

Exclamation Un-Savaging Sarah Palin

"Moral character, or character, is an evaluation of an individual's moral qualities. The concept of character can imply a variety of attributes including the existence or lack of virtues such as integrity, courage, fortitude, honesty, and loyalty, or of good behaviors or habits. When someone is a moral character, it is primarily referring to the assemblage of qualities that distinguish one individual from another. Psychologist Lawrence Pervin defines moral character as '“a disposition to behave expressing itself in consistent patterns of functioning across a range of situations”'"

Because we, the American majority, do not know much about the Republican VP candidate, Sarah Palin, it would be wise to do a little 'research' of our own before attacking her credentials or values. It seems to me that this woman has a very strong record of leadership (in her limited time served), and who better to face the onslaught of political concerns and personal attacks than a tried and true woman. A mother, wife, public servant, and an American who has worn many, many different hats and organized them quite well (in my opinion) she can only offer strength and versatility to the republican ticket and perhaps the White House.

I cannot wait for the debates! I think we will all learn a thing or two about just who Sarah Palin really is and what she stands for; if we could put aside our petty personal grousing, gender grumbling and capricious conclusion jumping; I believe we will all discover the genuineness that lies in the Republican VP Candidate, Sarah Palin; not to mention power and versatility that she could bring to our suffering nation.

Estrogen is not testosterone kryptonite, nor is it an incurable disease; let us accept this VP candidate as a human, not a gender challenged weakling or an under qualified “too busy mom of five”; she may just surprise us all. “Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones”, “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned”, all the proverbs and sayings in the world cannot play substitute for the real subject matter…who do we as Americans, want to represent our needs for today and in the future. Lets get back to the real issues; lets give her a chance to show us what she can do.

The fact that the DNC's propaganda arm, the MSM, has been so rabid in their attacks and repetition of baseless rumors is proof enough that Palin has them running scared.

What further galls them is that she's a very attractive woman, wears skirts, and isn't shrill. She has qualifications for the job that they conveniently ignore or deliberately obscure.

They're on the run. She can administer the coup de grace tonight with a few well aimed shots.
