Obama's Backbone Deficit

Last week raised important questions about whether Barack Obama is strong enough to be president. On the domestic political front, he showed incredible weakness in dealing with the Clintons, while on foreign and defense questions, he betrayed a lack of strength and resolve in standing up to Russia's invasion of Georgia.

This two-dimensional portrait of weakness underscores fears that Obama might, indeed, be a latter-day Jimmy Carter.

Consider first the domestic and political. Bill and Hillary Clinton have no leverage over Obama. Hillary can't win the nomination. She doesn't control any committees. If she or her supporters tried to disrupt the convention or demonstrate outside, she would pay a huge price among the party faithful. If Obama lost - after Hillary made a fuss at the convention - they would blame her for all eternity (just like Democrats blame Ted Kennedy for Carter's defeat).

Not only does Obama have a back bone deficit, but an honesty deficit, humility deficit, intelligence deficit i could go on but I think you got the idea.

If Obama can't stand up to the Clintons, after they have been defeated, how can he measure up to a resurgent Putin who has just achieved a military victory?

Excellent question, with a simple answer: He can't!

The man is weak and caves in on every issue...just look at his record since he's been running. I heard on radio this morning that he's for "offshore drilling" now, whereas a few weeks ago, he was 100% opposed to it.

He, Bill Clinton, Al Gore, and John Kerry cannot stand on their beliefs and character because they have none. When you put all four of them together, you have a stack of four waffles that change flavor weekly.

How he was nominated is beyond the thought process, are we a nation of news paper believers so much we suck it up and take it in and keep it?

For crying out loud he is a communist and we are against communism aren't we? He is a danger we can see, are the rest of the people that stupid or blind they can't see this? a lot of questions and no answer's , that is Obama's campaign in a nut shell no answers ever, just platitudes and scripting from a teleprompter . If Obama wins then we will be guilty of going to war with Hitler as he had the right idea right? no he did not and Obama has the very same ideas as Hitler .

Bologna!!! We know plenty. The problem is the main stream media goes to great lenghts to avoid negative press and when something unflattering does comes to light, the author is castigated, called liar, a bigot, or worse.

Contributors to these discussion topics have known for months that Obama is an empty suit. In viewing news reports of BHO's Virginia campaign appearences I noticed an ear piece indicating a hearing disability or a link to off stage prompting.
Some low level FM jamming might leave him looking like the slow witted Mortimer Snerd without Edgar Bergen. Hmmm....seems familiar.
