Re: Univ. of Ill. Won't Release Obama Records
Obama faces new criticism on abortion
By CHRISTOPHER WILLS
Associated Press
August 20, 2008
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) -- Painted during the Democratic primary as weak on abortion rights, Barack Obama is now being portrayed as an extremist who literally supports killing babies.
Both portraits are based on his handling of a related issue in the Illinois Senate, and Obama insists they distort his position.
The Democratic presidential candidate says he firmly supports a woman's right to choose but can accept some restrictions -- including a requirement that medical care be provided for any fetus that survives an abortion.

Re: Obama faces new criticism on abortion
Distortions and lies? Sorry - the only ones guilty of that are Hussein and his campaign staff. There's enough evidence available to prove he voted AGAINST the ban on partial birth abortion, and when the wording in the Born Alive Infant Protection Act was amended to meet the federal Act, he STILL wouldn't bring it up for vote. Since he left IL, it has now passed.
This man has as much business running for POTUS as my cat.
He can't stand up to criticism, he lies, states he "misspoke", etc. He's just powerhungry. When he was elected (appointed via Chicago dumbdems) to Springfield, it didn't take him long to run for US Congress against Bobby Rush. He lost, and then ran for US Senate. If, God forbid, he ends up in the WH, wonder how long it'll be before he runs for King of the World - since he considers himself a citizen of the world?
If the repubs don't unite, we will be in for the worst nightmare imaginable - and we may not be able to extricate ourselves from the coming disaster.

Re: Obama faces new criticism on abortion
Personally Righton I think your cat or even one of my cats would do a better job as POTUS than BO....(because they would take advice from us )
Seriously: I have never seen a worse abortion record than his. It is truly appalling. And how he lies and dances around it to try an win the Christian vote is disgusting. Deep inside he must know it is wrong because of all his attempts to cover it up. Sick and sad.

Re: Obama faces new criticism on abortion
This blog is the place for me, I am staying right here!!!!! Finally I feel at home with those bloggers before me. To me there is only one answer, live begins at conception. Anything other than natural causes to end that life is wrong. Of course, I am not their JUDGE, only one person is the JUDGE, but I do have the responsibilty to the JUDGE to support life that HE gave. My two-cents.

Re: Obama faces new criticism on abortion
"Abortion opponents say Obama's position amounts to an endorsement of killing babies, and that he has lied about it."
Recently when asked the question if you could change one vote you made in the Senate, which one would it be. Obama promptly replied I would change my vote on Terri Schibo. Obama voted in the minority to continie life support and he said he would change his vote in support of allowing her husband to starve her to death. Yeah! I'm sure he's completely truthful about his abortion votes. And pigs can whistle!

Re: Obama faces new criticism on abortion
Most dictators in the past have been for getting rid of imperfect babies and letting the weak die. I wonder if he would support a concept like Hitler's Arryan Race? By the way, angry people like B. Hussein are so buried in themselves they do not feel remorse for people, only actions which might hurt their quest for power. I'm beginning to think he isn't nearly as smart as the MSM and spin doctors make him out to be, just another useful idiot. If his words aren't scripted, he really is a bonehead.

Re: Obama faces new criticism on abortion
Eugenics and Martha Sanger's Planned Parenthood are closely linked. Sanger was also a racist (anti Negro). A good deal of historical analysis has been done on these links as well as of Eugenics and Planned Parenthood to Nazism. Google shows 58,900 for Eugenics Planned Parenthood Nazism.
Its enough to have convinced me to cease giving to the local United Way in favor of giving to individual charities.
