Univ. of Ill. Won't Release Obama Records

WASHINGTON — The University of Illinois on Tuesday refused to release records relating to Barack Obama's service to a nonprofit group linked to former 1960s radical activist William Ayers.

The university's Chicago campus said the donor of the records that document the work of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge has not yet turned over ownership rights to the material.

The university is "aggressively pursuing" an agreement with the donor, and as soon as an agreement is finalized, the collection will be made accessible to the public, the university said in a one-paragraph statement.

There was no indication when an agreement will be worked out. The university did not identify the donor who it said was concerned that the release not invade personal privacy.

*Rush spoke at length on this today. The Dems are going to extremes to cover up the Obama/Ayres relationship. They do have a penchant for secrecy, don't they? Slick's medical records. Hillary's Rose Law Firm files. Kerry's Vietnam service records. And now these U of Ill records that show Ayres had a much cozier relationship with Obama than 'just a neighbor.'

The lord Obama will inform the peons as he sees fit. He doesn't deem it important that we know anything about him...except what he wants us to know.

Yet, the slack-jawed, drooling masses will still vote for him.

f you haven't paid attention to the coverup related to the Annenberg Challenge on Excellence in Education, you need to catch up.

This is a ticking time bomb for the Obama campaign. They are doing their best, through proxies, to stop the release of the Annenberg records from the University of Illinois Chicago ("UIC").

Why?

Because as Rick Moran points out the release of the records will fatally undermine Obama's narrative about his associations with Bill Ayers.

So much for an "open" and "transparent" presidency.
If we cannot get records released during a campaign who in their right mind would think that a BO presidency would be open and transparent. Only a complete Fool.
Just too much to hide.

This is good stuff, it needs it's own thread if it doesn't have it already. I just had my 19 year old son read this and all he could say is OMG! (He is a 'Rush Baby' though)

We've all known for some time that Hussein had a lot to hide. That's been evident in his equivocations and his facile explanations for various known events in his past. The question has always been how long it would take for some of this to leak out.

We ought to see more suspicious things popping up in the next few months and Hussein's operatives are going to look like players at a 'Wack-A-Mole' game at the fair. And they'll be just as unsuccessful.
