Default Typical Leftist

By Carol Devine-Molin
July 3, 2008

It was reported a few weeks ago that Democrat presidential candidate Barack Obama warned his supporters that the election season might "get ugly", stating, "If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun." That's tough talk from a guy who let's others do his dirty work. But then again, that's the modus operandi of Leftist candidates, isn't it?

Obama's "I'm above the fray" pretense is not going to hold up much longer. People nowadays are savvy to the machinations of politicos. When high profile surrogates such as Senators Jay Rockefeller and Jim Webb and former General Wesley Clark attempt to denigrate or devalue the military background and hero status of GOP presidential candidate John McCain, it doesn't look like they're offering up free-lance, off-the-cuff remarks. Rather, it looks orchestrated. Simply put, they're working in tandem with the Obama camp. The strategy of Team Obama has been fairly uncomplicated: Obama's surrogates get to wreak a little damage upon GOP presidential candidate John McCain, while candidate Obama generally has had the luxury of haughtily ignoring the ensuing kerfuffle.

Precisely. An emptly suit and vacant head.

Nice ears, though, and begging to be pulled if only McCain gets off the pot and squarely faces the foe.

Am I the only Republican who's tired of hearing that 'we' don't respond to dirty tactics because 'we' are above the fray? I'm not.

Politics is a dirty business. If McCain isn't prepared to fight back and defend himself, he should have chosen a different profession. He certainly shouldn't be running for president.

Others can defend him as much as possible, but it doesn't have the impact that a McCain rebuke would.

Once he decided to seek the nomination and won, he has the responsibility of fighting all the way up to election day.

He's not and he's really letting us down. So far, he's running the worst campaign I've ever seen.

Mad dog Wes Clark was relieved of his SAC EURO NATO command for what JT Chief Chairman General Hugh Sheldon called "Integrity and Character issues".
Guess he found a home with BHO.

No, General, but neither does getting relieved of command.

For those who are not familiar with American military traditions, being relieved of command for cause, as Clark was, is a disgrace worse than being fired from a civilian position for not doing your job. The relieved officer will normally make an abrupt career change...if he is not court martialed. Bill Clinton gave Clark a big break and allowed him to retire after he was relieved of the NATO command.

No, getting shot down doesn't necessarily qualify one to be President but there are a lot easier ways to demonstrate strength of character than five years as a POW. Questioning the honor and integrity of one who has is not one of them.

Obama simply is "NOT QUALIFIED" to be POTUS!

McCain needs to get "in the game" and fight back. Does he think he is in a "sandbox"???

I don't know if it will do any good, but for those of you who think he should fight back harder should write him and tell him that, I DID--didn't receive an answer, but if he'll just do what I asked, I'll be happy!

BUT, please go to his website and contact him with your thoughts--be courteous, but straight-talking---just my suggestion!

Maybe if he gets enough of those, he'll start to fight back! I want him to get MAD!!

Kerry's jumped in now, saying essentially that McCain isn't fit to be president. This campaign is just starting. It's gonna get worse.
