Default RNC to run its first ad of presidential campaign

By JIM KUHNHENN
Associated Press
July 3, 2008

WASHINGTON (AP) -- An independent arm of the Republican National Committee plans to spend $3 million on an ad campaign contrasting GOP presidential candidate John McCain to Democrat Barack Obama on energy security.

The ad will run in Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin beginning Sunday. The ad represents the first of the RNC's independent expenditure operation.

The effort will be run by Republican media consultant Brad Todd of On Message Inc., a media and polling firm that worked on Mitt Romney's presidential campaign.

I predict that Lee Atwater's god-like reputation for brilliant (and truthful) campaign advertising will not be remotely challenged by this $3 million advertising buy. Strange! There's enough on Obama to do a new "Willie Horton" ad every day until the election.

I can just see the copywriters now, scrupulously avoiding any mention of Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Rev. Pfleger, Bill Ayers, Bernadine Dhorn, Tony Rezko, Michelle's "patriotism", Obama's Illinois and US Senate voting records, Obama's Islamic schooling, Obama's awkward "un-TelePrompTered" remarks, the shady real estate deals and shadier loans, Obama's "soft" stance on international Islamic terrorism, his legalistic view of handling terrorists, abortion, partial birth abortion, twenty - count 'em - twenty years of sitting in J.Wright's church listing to screeds without a complaint, throwing his grandmother under the bus, throwing his fundraisers under the bus, Obama's underpaying his female staffers, Obama's addiction to cigarettes, Obama's early cocaine use, Obama's one page "medical report", how Obama "got started" in Selma, "Obama's (Muslim) Kenyan relatives political/revolutionary/terrorist careers .....

It's going to be a short ad, probably about how much we all love our country equally. We're relying on Hillary and Bill to put out the real stuff on Obama, remember? Or maybe they're relying on GOPUSA.com.

It would take a one hour time slot to make an ad of Obama's weakness, terrorist ties, socialistic views, etc.

But then the RNC would be accused of being racists.

Excellent analogy of the Muslim's idiotic actions and morals, AJ. I loved it.
However I'm afraid they can keep his ad's short by just saying, "Obama=Change" and the mindless masses will get that warm fuzzy feeling and a tingle up and down their leg.
It will be good to see some Conservative ad's refuting all that
Muslims BS.

I hope the adds fight fire with fire by exposing at least a few of Obama's "misinformations ." At least he never said he invented the internet as of yet.

AARP running bi-partisan ads? That'll be a first!

The AARP is supposedly a non-profit advocacy organization for senior citizens but is really nothing but an insurance marketing organization using what I think are pretty unethical methods to prey on seniors. Don't believe me? Listen closely to their litany of Medicare supplemental insurance features. Every one of the things they claim as exclusive for their policies or AARP members is either required by law or is a common feature of many Medicare supplemental insurance policies. Then compare their premiums; you could probably do better with any of several other insurance companies.

Talking Re: RNC to run its first ad of presidential campaign

Every time Obama and his minions talk about change maybe we should mention that Adolf Hitler was also an advocate for change. ie. not all change is good.
