Default Obama warns Republicans about critical ads

By CHARLES BABINGTON
Associated Press
May 16, 2008

CHICAGO (AP) -- Perhaps no one took greater comfort in the Republican Party's third straight loss of a long-held House seat this week than Barack Obama, who says the results point to clear limits in the effectiveness of attack ads he expects this fall.

The Democratic presidential candidate played a prominent role in all three special elections to fill vacant GOP seats, and he landed on the winning side each time.

In recent contests in Louisiana and Mississippi, Republicans or their allies ran TV ads linking the Democratic House nominees to Obama, warning that a vote for them was a tacit endorsement of Obama's agenda, which the ads described as very liberal. In Mississippi, ads against Democrat Travis Childers also tied him to Obama's former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, and to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.

Obamanation's popularity is due more to the pandering MSM than anything else.

The repubs ran poor candidates in the 3 elections and with the help of the MSM were trashed. The dumbdems ran candidates who were preceived as "conservative" but are like RINOs - as soon as they arrive in DC, their true colors will emerge.

IMO, Obamanation will be using the race/victim card from now on. And you can bet any criticism of ANYTHING he expresses will be classified as "racist" by the butt-kissing MSM.

Who does he think he is, Allah? He is scary and anyone that votes for him must want to be ruled (dictatorship) by a muslim and if you do not obey you get beheaded. Thank you commiecrats. This is the legacy we will leave for our future generations if our country survives.

Amazing the brass cajones this man has. He is warning the GOP?

Once the debate on issues happens, and people see outright how socialist he is, the trend will turn and he will go down in flames.

McCain has already started by differentiating their policies and putting his platform out there. Smart. I don't agree with much of it, but it's a smart tactic.

You know, some of these e-mails and rumors that we talked about have penetrated in West Virginia more deeply than they have in some other states.
So, West Virginians cling to their guns, religion, AND their computers? What a bunch of hayseeds!

The failure of the ads in the jurisdictions cited was a case of 'too little, too late'. Dems, by nature for the past 40 years or so, fear exposure of their true agenda. How else to describe how many of them run on a 'centrist' or 'conservative' platform?

When their records are made public, they're outraged. "It's a personal attack!" Of course it is. What's your point? Point out any factual errors. The Marxist anti-Americanism of these frauds must be publicized. If they don't like it, they can go whine to their buddies in the MSM.

I can see the television ad now:

We got rid of one Hussein. (Pan out on Saddam hanging)

It's time to get rid of another! (Pan in on Barack)

Obama has nothing to worry about. The Republican Party won't run an ad that would be scathingly realistic, or cleverly abrupt on an actual issue. We're not going to attack him for his Commitment to Africa upbringing. Or his nasty craptacular wife. We keep trying to take the higher ground instead of delivering a well deserved pot shot here and there.

We've been afraid to, and Obama has just told us to continue to be afraid to.

Cheers, big ears.

Touchy touchy touchy

Lighten up Barack Hussein! And while you're at it, put a leash on Michelle.

Why don't you just put a list on your website of all the words, epithets, and allusions the world is supposed to eschew in deference to you.

Your typical white person wants to know.

Rush gave a partial list today, AJ. Here it is:
Quote:
RUSH: With Obama we started out, we couldn't talk about his big ears 'cause that made him nervous. We've gone from that to this: Not only can we not mention his ears...

We can't talk about his mother.

We can't talk about his father.

We can't talk about his grandmother unless he does, brings her up as a "typical white person."

We can't talk about his wife, can't talk about his preacher, can't talk about his terrorist friends, can't talk about his voting record, can't talk about his religion.

We can't talk about appeasement.

We can't talk about color; we can't talk about lack of color.

We can't talk about race. We can't talk about bombers and mobsters who are his friends. We can't talk about schooling. We can't talk about his name, "Hussein."

We can't talk about his lack of experience. Can't talk about his income. Can't talk about his flag pin.

This started out we can't call him a liberal.

It started out we just couldn't talk about his ears.

Now we can't say anything about him.
