Default Barr launches Libertarian White House bid

By BEN EVANS
Associated Press
May 13, 2008

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Former Republican Rep. Bob Barr launched a Libertarian Party presidential bid Monday, saying voters are hungry for an alternative to the status quo who would dramatically cut the federal government.

His candidacy throws a wild card into the White House race that many believe could peel away votes from Republican Sen. John McCain given the candidates' similar positions on fiscal policy.

Barr, who has hired Ross Perot's former campaign manager, acknowledged that some Republicans have tried to discourage him from running. But he said he's getting in the race to win, not to play spoiler or to make a point.

McCain is ticking me off....YES
I feel I have no where to go....but Barrs run on the Libertarian ticket is not what I feel is right for this nation....leaving Iraq while we are winning is stupid, foolish, inane...and any other word I can think off.....
So Barr is not the answer.....
and I feel McCain is not the answer...YET...when all is said and done it will be either McCain or Obama....God Help US! and that was a prayer....
It cannot be Obama....and one thing Mr. Barr.....if Obama gets elected because of your run...how will that make you feel......Lousy I hope

An alternative:

PAT PAULSEN FOR PRESIDENT HEADQUARTERS OPEN AT DOO DAH CENTRAL IN OCEAN CITY NEW JERSEY

OCEAN CITY, NJ…..Pat Paulsen for President Headquarters is now open at Doo Dah Central located in City Hall Annex, 901 Asbury Avenue.

The Doo Dah Board of Governors and Parade Committee have officially endorsed the deceased comedian for president. There will be a Paulsen for President Brigade in the City’s Doo Dah Parade, Sat., April 26 starting at noon.

The Doo Dah offices have been officially designated the New Jersey headquarters for the November election by Paulsen’s widow and soul mate, Noma, National campaign manager from Tujunga, California.

*Ok, so he's deceased, but Democrats vote for dead people all the time. Wait that's not right. Dead Democrats vote for... All right now, this is serious, who snickered? Somebody did, I heard it. Really now, Pat is... was... highly qualified for... something. And who could pass up being able to proudly tell your friends that you went down and voted for Pat Paulsen at Doo Dah Central? I mean, is that impressive or what? But on a serious note, a dead Pat Paulsen is a much better choice for president than those other people. Ain't he?

Talking Re: Barr launches Libertarian White House bid

The 2008 Presidential Election has turned into a
"MESS".

2 "COMMUNISTS" running on the Democrat side.

McCain, "the Maverick" on the GOP side.

Barr, the "Liberatian" on the ACLU side.

Looks like "NONE OF THE ABOVE" wins!!

Libertarian contribution to the Republican Party:

-Free trade 800 billion a year trade deficit, crashing dollar and all its lovely side effects

-10-20 million illegal immigrants

-ACLU (tasteless porn, Christian bashing, atheism theology)

-Tolerance of OPEC

~25,000,000 lost voters
