John McCain's 'Reverend Wright Moment'
By Christopher G. Adamo
May 9, 2008
As the Hillary/Obama melee continues, America is increasingly able to see their politically fatal flaws. Polling of recent weeks has clearly shown that, despite all of the pathetically transparent media hype for Barack Obama, the public would gladly opt instead for a candidate who could be counted on to uphold the values and mores of traditional America.
By this reason alone can the sudden surges in John McCain's polling numbers be explained. Bearing little or no correlation to his campaign activities, they receive a boost with each ensuing clash between Clinton and Obama. Yet it is apparently beyond the Arizona Senator's comprehension that his current "popularity" has absolutely nothing to do with him.

Re: John McCain's 'Reverend Wright Moment'
This stuff totally emphasizes what a back sided brown spot McCain really is. Every time I swallow hard and redetermine to support this clown as the lesser evil, he comes up with more, different reasons to withdraw that support. I wish he would just SHUT UP. If he keeps it up I just won't be able to hold my nose and vote, instead I'll save gas and stay home! The country be damned!

Re: John McCain's 'Reverend Wright Moment'
Are we surprised that McCain has decided to address "La Raza"? The name means "The Race" and recognizes no ethnicity but their own. They have, in behaving this way, deservedly earned other names from US citizens........"The Tan Klan" and "The Brown KKK" come to mind.
Senator McCain said at one point that he had gotten the message from the American people that we want the borders secured. What the Senator refuses to understand is that he has only managed to hear half of the message, by choice I think. We want the criminal border jumpers OUT OF HERE, Senator and the SAVE Act would do that.
What we all have to "hear" from all the candidates is that none of them give a damn what we want. Where is our choice or our voice? Gone, and I'm not holding my breath with any hope of getting either back!

Re: John McCain's 'Reverend Wright Moment'
It's difficult to make any sense out of what McCain's agenda is. For every left leaning 'independent' he wins, he does his best to reject and annoy two from his shallow base.
If the American public were divided on the issue of illegal aliens with a margin of 2%, either way, it might be understandable but the country overwhelmingly wants strong borders and an end to pressing '1' to speak to their government in English.
Look at the reaction of the average American upon seeing Absolut's recent advertising that showed North America divided up just as La Raza would like.
McCain's arrogant disregard of Main Street America is going to come back to haunt him.

Re: John McCain's 'Reverend Wright Moment'
McCain's stand on illegal immagration makes me sick. They clog up our schools, hospitals, welfare system, food stamps, now they can be illegal and collect Social Security without having paid into it, take our jobs, and want part of America back in Mexico.
The border needs to be closed with military if needed. just like the rest of the world borders. The illegals need to go home. To accomplish this, not only give employers huge fines, but put them in jail for breaking the law. The jobs for the illegals would dry up fast. We also need to pick up and deport as many each month as we can. The May 1st demostrations would of been a good place to start. Also at LaPaz headquarters. If they want to come here legally, I have no problem with that. We don't need more laws, just enforce what laws we have now. And they need to speak English. I am really fed up with pushing buttons. Think about how much gas they use here, take 12 to 16 million, times 40 gallons per week, times 12 months.
The foriegn trading agreements stink also. We have a huge trade deficit because of the unfair treaties. They tarrif the heck out of us, but we don't them. Dah.
Last, I am not a rich conservitive, i am a electrician, construction worker conservitive, 66 and still working 40 to 50 hours a week. I live in a rural area, and am one of those folks who lives in small towns, in apathy, but has guns and religion. That statement was the biggest slap in my face, myy neighbors faces, that a politician ver gave out. I will vote for McCain, only because I do not want Obama. McCains bad, Obama, he is scary.

Re: John McCain's 'Reverend Wright Moment'
WE are facing extermination of our culture.
There are three options left to us.
1. The second amendment.
2. Civil war.
3. An attempt to stop his sure move towards amnesty with a legal challenge:
Since the Mexican government is responsible for directing the flow of illegals into the USA, complete with printed materials on how to avoid our police & military and physical evasion training camps, on top of the obvious reconquista movement embedded in them, there is a serious case to made that they are in fact a Militia in disguise.
No president has the constitutional authority to allow a 20 million man foreign militia to be on American soil by fiat. There is only one way it's legal, if we have a treaty with Mexico treating EXACTLY this situation. This has to be OKed by congress first.
we appear to have one civilised choice left before violence that may rip our society apart.
Our elites have become stupidly selfish, they will destroy what they cannot control.

Re: John McCain's 'Reverend Wright Moment'
This recent posting written yesterday on another site expresses my feelings better than I ever could as to WHY I will vote for McCain ---
"You can still drive a "beater"
I've had my share of cars that got me by. But, beater or not, I still changed the oil, put air in the tires and did general maintenance because the car got me to work. I didn't say, "What a piece of junk. I'm not driving this thing anymore and so I won't even go to work". I don't know about you, but I'll take care of that car because at least it gets me to work the majority of the time and I know that if I work hard, I can buy a new car."

Re: John McCain's 'Reverend Wright Moment'
I agree with you Rivenburg....unfortu nately, if BHMO gets the nod in November your first and second choices are probably the most logical, because the third choice will be taken away from us in a Marxist regime.
And to Diana, A Texas Grandmother, that is why I am voting for McCain.....lets say I am voting against Obama instead of for McCain...in the hopes I can get a better choice in 2012 (which again I state, If BHMO gets the nod, we may not have elections in 2012.
Dear God, Lord of this Universe, Please help the United States of America....In Jesus Name

Re: John McCain's 'Reverend Wright Moment'
McCain has taken so many positions lately, I need a "dry erase board" to keep track.
Of course, one cannot ever forget the summer
of 2007 "McCain-Kennedy" AMNESTY bill.

Re: John McCain's 'Reverend Wright Moment'
I've been saying for years that voting for a third party candidate was just throwing your vote away. Now, after McCain has reached, not just "across the aisle", but across the border to those who would invade and take over our country, it seems like voting for either Shrillary , Obama , or McCain is throwing your vote away.
This year, I have a chance to make a real difference, to change history, by voting for a third party candidate - even if the outcome is forty-some percent for McCain, forty-some percent for the Dumbocrat, and about ten percent for the third party, at least the third party candidate might force McCain to promise to defend our borders and enforce our laws, in exchange for the electoral votes to put him in office.
