Default Government Of The People Or By The Faction?

By Frank Salvato
May 9, 2008

Now comes news that George McGovern has called for Hillary Clinton to withdraw from the Democrat's primary race. Pardon me for my raised eyebrow but how much of a fool would someone have to be to take campaign advice from the man who got slaughtered by Richard Nixon? Losing an election by a landslide really shouldn't qualify someone to dispense political advice unless it's how to deliver a concession speech without looking bitter.

The facts, as they present, make it abundantly clear to anyone not blinded by political emotionalism, anyone not hoodwinked by the bumper-sticker gotcha games of this election cycle, that the Democrat's primary race is simply too close to call.

The logical conclusion an Obama/Clinton (not sure who's on top) ticket. If that won, what a disaster for our great nation. Just the thought makes me want to cry! And we have John McCain - ugh!

Quote:
"The Democrat leadership likes to throw the word "democracy" around when it behooves them but when it comes to adhering to the principles of democracy they tend to lean more toward the Socialist idea of the elitist class knowing what is best for the masses."
They certainly do seem to freely express the word "democracy", but fail to express, or recognize, the control factor of America's democracy, and that is REPUBLIC. Schools, controlled by their factions, no longer teach it, and there is no mention of republican principles our founding fathers spoke so highly of. For the demoncrat elites, the word "democracy" is of the democrat parties name, and republic, or republican principles, is of the republican parties name. Of coarse they do not want this reference made, as they could not follow their pure democracy ideals of the factions. I'll bet few students, if any, have ever read Madisons 10th federalist paper. I know my son would not know of it, if I had not had him read it, and explain what "republican principles" were.

Talking Re: Government Of The People Or By The Faction?

The Democrat Party today looks like the "former Soviet Union" of the Reagan Era.

The Democrat Party might as well change their symbol from a "donkey" to the flag of the "former Soviet Union".

Just the "FACTS" as I see them.

I believe the hammer, and sickle, would fit their hands well. Almost as if they were a natural appendage of their body.

It may be too close to call but neither candidate from the Democratic party is a winner in my book.

What a disgrace!
