Obama accuses McCain of 'losing his bearings'
By LIBBY QUAID
Associated Press
May 9, 2008
NEW YORK (AP) -- Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama said Thursday that Republican John McCain was ''losing his bearings'' for repeatedly suggesting the Islamic terrorist group Hamas preferred Obama for president.
That brought an angry response from McCain's campaign, which accused Obama of trying to make an issue of McCain's age.
Age is a touchy subject for McCain, who turns 72 in August and would be the oldest person to be sworn in as president if elected.

"The adviser, Ahmed Yousef, said in a recent interview: ''We like Obama and hope that he will win the election"
I guess if you’re Barak HUSSAIN Obama, anything your opponent brings out that reflects negatively is a smear, even it it’s true!

Re: Obama accuses McCain of 'losing his bearings'
I consider this a insult to me because I am over 70 and I feel I have my life together better than I did when I was 40.
A list of people who have made valuable contributions to the world after reaching 70 years, would be endless.
I still work and I have been more valuable at my job than I was when I was younger.
It is wonderful to be young, but it is tragic to not get old.

Re: Obama accuses McCain of 'losing his bearings'
Yep, Ol' John got that part about Sen. B.O. and his compliment from Hammass correct but he forgot to invite them all to a beer and BBQ'd ribs feast at his Az. home.
So after getting the Hammass sign to hang on B.O.'S neck right, John runs off and parlays with La Raza(?) these clowns are right up there with Mecha and Azteca, as close to commie terrorist as you can find, no reason why, just needed some one to talk to besides the Conservative Republicans.........

Re: Obama accuses McCain of 'losing his bearings'
I can't help but wonder if Obama was "losing his bearings" when he wrote in his book, The Audacity of Hope - 'I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.' I think the American voter would want an explanation -- and definitely know those who support Israel would!

Re: Obama accuses McCain of 'losing his bearings'
McCain said it right, and should say it often. Terrorist leaders, and groups, around the world would prefer a liberal left demoncrat as president, and Obama is a three fer. Three for the price of one. 1: Extreme left; 2: Islamic connections; 3: A weakling easily swayed by voices like Wright, without standing up to question his insults to Christianity. The 71 years of John McCain holds, and exudes, more wisdom, then the 45 years of a babe still in diapers. Every moment I get, this nam vet is going to proclaim Obamas disparities, his socialist connections, liberal left connections, and his anti Christian sentiments.

Re: Obama accuses McCain of 'losing his bearings'
There seems to be a consistent pattern emerging here. FARC, the left wing narco-terrorists in Colombia, also endorse Hussein as does our dear friend in Venezuela, Chavez.
The Castros in Cuba like him as does the oligarchy ruling terrorist Iran. Al Qaeda has signaled their support.
All of these are outspoken anti-American.
Too bad McCain doesn't have to cajones to publicize and exploit this further.

Obama "lost his bearings" in the church with the
Rev. Jeremiah Wright for 20 years.
Obama is "NOT QUALIFIED" for POTUS.

Re: Obama accuses McCain of 'losing his bearings'
Obama, a man who couldn't get his boat out of a docking area if his life depended on it is accusing Mcain of "losing his bearings?"
Obama, you're the one whose "bearings" are charting a course for disaster for the U.S.A.
We'll all be "lost at sea" if we follow your 'bearings" or wind up on Gilligans Island without a single luxury!
If it weren't for the GPS system you couldn't find your way out of the head. Lead this country into a new change?
Hardly!

Re: Obama accuses McCain of 'losing his bearings'
LOL, Barack Hussein Obama is such a cry baby - any criticism of him is either a "swift-boating" attempt or a "smear". That's all he can ever say when he's ever questioned about one of his MANY dubious professional/personal associations.
Hell yeah, he was referring to McCain's age, and I'm glad Juan called him on it.
Barack Hussein Obama's in with HAMAS up to his anti-American neck - too bad there's no way for Barack Hussein Obama to lose his own American citizenship, snob.
