Barack Obama's Bitter Half
By Michelle Malkin
May 7, 2008
Are you ready for hope and change? Barack Obama better hope his bitter half has a change of attitude if she expects to assume the title of first lady in November. She's been likened to John F. Kennedy's wife, what with her chic suits and pearls and perfectly coiffed helmet hair. But when she opens her mouth, Michelle O is less Jackie O and more Wendy W -- as in Wendy Whiner, the constantly kvetching "Saturday Night Live" character from the early 1980s.
When last our worldviews collided, back in February, the other Michelle was expounding on her lack of pride in America. I gave her myriad reasons to cheer up -- from America's role in the fall of communism to our unparalleled generosity to our nation's superior economic system, cultural resilience, entrepreneurial spirit and ingenuity. But since then, Mrs. Obama has dug in her $500 Jimmy Choo heels and solidified her role in the 2008 presidential campaign as Queen of the Grievance-Mongers.

Re: Barack Obama's Bitter Half
I can hardly stand the thought of those two being in the White House, let alone Hillary and Bill again. It has been said the Antichrist will be muslim and will come from out of nowhere and have people swooning all over him. Well, I hope everyone opens their eyes real soon or we will all have to have the mark of the beast (666) on us or be beheaded. Now think about this, that is what the muslims do to Christians, behead them. This whole thing is so scary, if they are elected I will be getting myself an arsenal of weapons to protect me and my family.

Re: Barack Obama's Bitter Half
I fear for our country more then I did during Vietnam or the second world war . we have a possible chance of being saddled with an inept president one who has no experience at all when you look hard at it it is hard to see any.
John McCain may not be your best choice but we are in the position of having no other choice if we are to maintain the American way of life . we will see the rest of the factories and business close their doors and unemployment will be the highest it has been in the last 100 years . Congress still is sitting and drawing their pay and doing nothing to help, but they exacerbate the trouble we have with high energy costs . if we do not become independent in a short time we can kiss the opportunities good bye and we will fall into another great depression and only if Obama wins in November . we need to go out and vote McCain and put our differences aside to beat this so called messiah.

welder4:
You are so right. The threat to our country is dire and the people had better wake up. Keep your eye on the ball. Obama is a screaming Marxist and an incompetent at that. He talks so much he doesn't remember what he says. He has lied about as many times as the worlds greatest liar, Hillary. He doesn't have a clue about economics or national security. We must use our heads and win this election. It is of dire importance. John McCain is a sorry, sorry candidate but think of the power he will have in his hands. He, for one, will probably have to appoint people to the Supreme Court. He is strong on national security, if he don't let the amnesty for illegal aliens he keeps talking about, derail us. He probably won't raise our taxes.
Why do you think the Obama's won't pay off their student loans now twenty years after leaving college and making the income they have made over the years. Just as when Michelle opens her mouth and she regurgitates the hate that is in her, they don't feel they should pay the debt. They feel this country should give them their education. These two people are sick to their bones with Marxism and bitterness. Remember we are talking about someone who could be our President.

Re: Barack Obama's Bitter Half
I'm glad she and her husband of whom she is so proud, made it "despite the White Man keepin' po' Black folks down."
They are both hypocrites and power hungry.
And strange, is it not, not one of the prominent Black "leaders" in our country has declared their support of them?

Re: Barack Obama's Bitter Half
I am still laughing at Michelle Malkin's wonderfully accurate view of Missie Obama.
Michelle Malkin once again quite accurately "pins the tail on the donkey".
As for my opinion of poor Missie Obama? As we say in the south ... Bless her heart.

Re: Barack Obama's Bitter Half
We Americans had better be on our collective knees, petitioning the Almighty to help us avoid such a cataclysmic event as those Marxists in the Oval Office. Otherwise, you can kiss your life as you've known it ta-ta.
We might just need to pray that McCain gets immigration and sanctity of life right; he might be salvageable, and he surely is a better choice than the two representing the loony left.
Thank you, Michele Malkin, for a totally entertaining while also informative expose on "the other Michele." Whiners? We don't need no stinkin' whiners in the White House!

Re: Barack Obama's Bitter Half
You know they are phonies when Maureen Dowd ( the queen of dem rhetoric) critizes him and her for their phony attempt at being common. She said he can't get used to it. His attempt at rebuking Wright reminded me of my son when he was caught red handed doing something he knew was wrong. He was so uncomfortable and anxiously cautious, weighing every word.
The Obama's as other dems, truly amaze me, crying that Reps cater to the rich, but who do they think they are? The average Joe working his tail off to put food on the table? No they are rich elitist bent on controlling the masses whom they feel cannot govern themselves. They want total control. They know how best to spend our money, how to raise our children, what we should eat, etc.. They know what is best for all of us. If you don't believe me just ask them.
God Help America -- God Bless our Troops.

Re: Barack Obama's Bitter Half
Over on HughHewitt's blog, there are nearly 150 comments on this same Michelle munchings! She is a real beaut for a socialist pacifist babe out of the San Fran types of mother earthers! A Chicago communty Alinsky alingner, Michelle and Husseain are simply European socialists who would change our Constitution, our free enterprise system and make us a Third World nation. If Pubs cannot unify, even with a flawed McCain, then they deserve defeat. Conservative purists must realize that their view that Obama would screw up so badly that in 2012 the public would awake and throw the bums out. What nonsense! To lose is not to win. It is as simple as that. Down ticket Pubs are going to get slaughtered unless they too rally the troops against these socialists. Wake up fellow Republicans, we cannot afford to lose to this Party again.

Re: Barack Obama's Bitter Half
Michelle, B.O.'s wife and main squeeze is a woman to be reckoned with and I believe we are all going to get more than an earfull from her now and in the future.
Her use of the word "despite" indicates a mysterious willfullness but the facts are, she like Mrs. Clinton embellishes far to much methinks, says I. Mrs. B.O. was of course responsible for all her accomplishments from birth to present by her own grit, her friends, her contacts, her scholarships and perhaps the fact quota requirement was in play. Certainly the fact that the freedoms and the ability to choose her course by being in a country which encourages success had little to do with it?
The arrogance of the left, the attribution that they are independent thinkers in spite of, is a self imposed delusion indictative of immaturity and from what I see, it is not going to change soon. This attitude will be eventually rewarded with a swift kick to the backside in due time.
