Liberal 'Social Justice' Portends New Dark Age
By Christopher G. Adamo
May 1, 2008
The American public and Christians in particular are being deluged once again with talk of the thoroughly ambiguous concept of "social justice." It is, after all, election time. Thus the pseudo religious among us must make their pitch for the Christian vote, on whatever spurious terms they can concoct.
In its raw form, "social justice" merely references the prevailing societal attitudes of the day, relegating any defining standards of right or wrong, good or evil, and moral or immoral to a snapshot of the existing consensus. Biblical principles notwithstanding, "social justice" has throughout time been equally applicable to those crowds shouting "crucify him," the burning of "heretics" at the stake during the inquisition, and even the holocaust.
It is therefore no great wonder that the "Reverend" Jeremiah Wright, in his venomous and racist rantings against America, would seek refuge under the umbrella of "social justice" when attempting to defend his positions.

Re: Liberal 'Social Justice' Portends New Dark Age
I have read many discourses on the issues we face as a society. I have heard all the excuses we are to buy into that justify acting "in the name of," & many that take the time to disparage those who fail to buy into their screeds.
This article probably does one of the best jobs I have read that identifies the issues, the problems, and why we have the problems we have.
Adamo also does a good job warning that unless we uncover the false prophets of doom & their true agenda's, we will face our own ruin.
Hopefully, many in America, religious or not, will realize that we cannot save anyone by subscribing to false prophets & false scriptures designed & intended to force us to accept the religion of "do-gooder-ism," rather than the real faith that we have lived by for millennia.

, and I second your comment Rubicon. I remember, during the '60's, how the churches were staunch supporters of, and worked hand in hand with government leaders to meet, and correct, the social injustices this nation faced. One of the greatest shames, that has developed over the years, is the loudest voice laying claim to assisting our fellow man, is the democrat left. The glory Americas God Loving congregation should be claiming, as a result of their actions, now lies in the hands of our government bureaucracy, and the church playing second fiddle. It's a shame on those, who claim to be teaching the Truths of the Word, and following in the Words footsteps. It certainly does appear, Americas social justice has alleviated their responsibility, and they can now attend to more urgent matters. You know, matters like which one of them has a greater understanding of Gods Word, and how they can attract more congregates to hear it. Just think of the moment when all those seperate congregations finally figure out the following teaching: "Love God, and your neighbor, as yourself." What a moment that will be when they all start working together knowing they are of one, and the same! UNITED.

We have a long way to go. With this election year politics and high prices, there will be a t of things thrown out for people to wonder about. Times are hard ,and are not likely to get better til we do something about all those naysayers in WASH.

This article gave me the chills. Why can't our leaders see what Mr. Adamo sees?

Because most of them (if not everybody) were taught the similar garbage at school. And their surroundings also.
The left continue to present themselves as "anti-establishment" - for attracting the rebelious youth, while they have been the predominant stream of the establishment (especialy the career bureaucracy) - at least for many years.
