Lightbulb There is an Elephant in the Room

It’s time we recognized the elephant that has been in the room with us all throughout this election season. The media continues to ignore the only presidential candidate who brings the promise of a change back to traditional conservative values we all know we need. The so-called conservative pundits talk about supporting a left wing candidate. What have we come to?

Now that the Republican field has been narrowed down to two, we can plainly see that we have more than a choice between the lesser of evils here. We have a candidate in the field with real grass roots support that not only can unite our party, but whose message crosses party lines to all Americans. All of us who love our great nation and enjoy the freedoms and protections designed into our constitution are uniting behind a candidate who offers a much more sensible approach to many policies. Many of the current policies have failed us miserably and are not in our best interests.

Fiscal and foreign policies have plagued this nation and have been allowed to run amok for far too long. The subsidization of everything the federal government comes into contact with must stop. It is time to regain our independence from the centralized bank scheme and move forward into the 21st century. The FED has outlive its purpose, and been derelict in its duty to keep a stable currency. A freedom of competition in currency act has been introduced which may go a long way toward stabilizing our economy, while bringing lawful, uninflatable money back to the people. The mismanagement of the FED and its fiat money system is at the root of many of our current crises. Our American Revolution was sparked for as much.

Our nation faces many threats to its very existence today. Many are from within. Corporate and other interests have exerted influence toward the aim of regional and global governance which would undermine the sovereignty of our nation. International courts have no jurisdiction over, nor do multinational organizations have the ability to tax the people of these united states as long as our constitution can be enforced.

Fortunately we have a champion of our constitution ready for nomination. His record of upholding the document which is the supreme law of the land speaks volumes. Who would anybody trust and believe more than Dr. Ron Paul when they take the oath to uphold and defend our constitution as chief executive? His speech on patriotism before Congress should be required reading/viewing in our schools. This is the candidate that can crush the Democrats in the general election. Real reforms are offered instead of the empty promise of “change” rhetoric proffered by the socialists from the other camp.

Greatness can be restored to our nation when we realize the benevolence we must show in the world community and lead by the example of taking care of our own domestic interests. We have our own nation to defend and a responsibility as a superpower not to engage in aggressive wars, especially not for the corporate interests which have manipulated us into our current folly. We quite simply cannot afford, neither financially nor morally, to maintain this expanding military empire.

Our interests would have been better served, and our reputation as a world leader less damaged, had we had purchased the oil from Iraq (while those Federal Reserve Notes were still worth more) and saved the bloodshed. Now that we have invaded their country we have bred enemies among peoples who used to fight amongst themselves. We are borrowing untold billions to pay for it. It is time to abandon this policy of interventionism and move to restore our dignity as a nation.

Thank God that we have a leader who can return common sense, sanity, and rule of law to the highest office in the land. Our federal government has been sick for a long time and we all know it. It needs a doctor and not a lawyer. Dr. Paul’s prognoses have been spot on, although sometimes they are too painful for most to want to believe. His prescription of a high dosage constitutional injection followed by close observation by the people is just what our government needs.

The election this year is perhaps the most important one of my lifetime. With the right leader we can do truly great things. Let it not be said in the future that we had the opportunity to restore our great republic and we missed it. We must seize this moment and shape our future toward one of hope and prosperity. It is our moral obligation to our selves and to our posterity.

Let us come together as a party and as a nation and elect a truly great president this year.

Long live the Republic ! !

Winning the Presidency requires more than high ideals and sincere patriotism - It requires VOTES and I'm afraid that Dr. Paul, despite the esteem in which he is held by his loyal supporters , simply cannot win the nomination- much less, the election.

Clover, that is the whole problem. The greatest indictment on our citizenry, and the Repuiblican Party in particular, is the fact that we cannot even recognize that Ron Paul is the type of candidate we actually need. Instead, we continue to elect idiots in the mold of those who put us in this horrible situation to begin with. Jim Puplava, a financial commentator I listen to, notes it is extremely foolish to think that those who dug the hole for are qualified to rescue you when every action they take only makes the hole deeper. The fact that Paul is not electable is indicative of America's problems, not Dr. Paul's.
