Cold Water On 'Global Warming'

It has almost become something of a joke when some "global warming" conference has to be cancelled because of a snowstorm or bitterly cold weather.

But stampedes and hysteria are no joke -- and creating stampedes and hysteria has become a major activity of those hyping a global warming "crisis."

They mobilize like-minded people from a variety of occupations, call them all "scientists" and then claim that "all" the experts agree on a global warming crisis.

Their biggest argument is that there is no argument.

Excuse me, Charie, but I think Dr. Sowell was agreeing with me. but I'll happily defer to you or any like minded Wisconsonian on this issue and this winter, given the literal mountains of evidence you've accumulated to refute the junk science of global warming.

As I write this, I have an inch of snow in my front yard...in North Texas...and it's still coming down in those large, fluffy flakes that pile up.

I mentioned to my wife earlier this evening that I had intended to cut the grass tomorrow. She suggested that I start by shoveling the snow off the grass.

Love that this was brought up here. Glenn Beck is covering the conference everyday. He had the Czech President on his show today and what he said was pretty scary about what he sees happening in America and his feelings on the term "Progressive" He enjoyed talking about how politically incorrect he's been talking about global warming being a scare tactic but he was just re-elected 2 wks ago lol.

I'll bet we will not see anything in the papers about this conference!

Here in Ohio many of us are screaming "Bring It On" as this winter has been cold, had 10 inches of snow until today when it was 60. Tonight, more freezing rain and snow - I would welcome the heat!
