Default It's Over

By Lawrence Kudlow
February 21, 2008

Allow me a dose of hardened market realism concerning Barack Obama's landslide victory in Wisconsin. The race is over. Hillary Clinton is over. Her electability is over.

Bill Clinton's political invincibility is over. The Clinton Restoration is over.

It's over.

Obama got to the far left faster than Hillary did. He out-organized her, out-fundraised her, out-speechified her, out-hustled her, out-dressed her and out-presidentialed her. He outbid Hillary for votes, one promised government check at a time. His 17-point margin of victory in Wisconsin was incredible. It says he can't be stopped.

Obviously, Larry Kudlow isn't lobbying for a cabinet post in the next Clinton administration.

Best and most interesting new factoid:
Quote:
The Intrade pay-to-play prediction market showed Obama with a 10 point gain after Wisconsin, giving him an insurmountable 81 to 19 lead. It's as if Hillary has suddenly become a steeply inverted yield curve, with a rapidly declining credit rating and a liquidity pool that's quickly drying up. She won't be able to raise two wooden nickels going forward. Not even Bill can raise enough money in Dubai to keep her out of bankruptcy.

I hope there isn't a sequel. I'm not up for "Return of the Hildebeest", though I would very much like to be the proverbial "fly on the wall" when she goes back to join all her "friends" in the Senate. I think she has four years left in her term there.

"Tain't over til the fat lady sings" you and I all know that. The clinton's both have a streak of trailer trash mean and will attack like a junk yard dog in order to either win or disrupt their own party much less a Republican candidate. These two vermin have spent a life time plotting and scheming to enhance their own disgusting image to leave a legacy they can point to and not be pinned.

B.O. the beardless leader of the hope for change cult is a babe in the woods but he could run over McCain like a Mack truck. If the Clinton's could drive a wedge n the Dem party structure and rupture their coalition, McCain could stand a chance. Even then I don't feel we would be getting much bang for our buck.

And I'll bet a dime to a donut paying her salary for those next four years will be a terrible waste of our tax dollars.

The only place they'll find her, if she's in the area, will be in her private "perk room" that they don't think we know about and she'll be hard pressed to come out and vote for anthing unless it going to profit her state or her in some way. Ya think?

Cool Re: It's Over

Poor old Hillary. ! I think she had better go on the tonight show, and cry again, and maybe someone would still vote for her. I wish if she loses, which i think she will that she will resign her senate seat, because she is dirt from now on.It couldn't happen to a worse person. My,my , but she has thought all her days in the Senate about how it was going to be to live in the W.H. again, and to steal some more furniture when she left ,to furnish the rest of he mansion in upstate N.Y.

Regarding that "misappropriated " White House furniture, silverware, china, etc. ....

Rush says her campaign is $7.5 million in debt, over and above the money Mrs. Clinton lent her own campaign.

I'm thinking there might be a few bargains on eBay.

Larry Kudlow says Mrs. Clinton's credit rating is nil. She has no presidential influence to peddle and my guess is her Senatorial influence is greatly diminished if not below the level of Larry Craig's.

The Clintons seem to know a lot of shady characters in crime, drugs, and internationally. I wouldn't be surprised if there were a few oriental potentates who thought they were buying a sure thing that may want their money back.

Tonight's debate on the "Clinton News Network" should be an interesting endgame. I won't be watching, but I'm definitely running a tape. I'm expecting some sustained derisive laughter at Mrs. Clinton as well as some tight camera shots on that heavy spackle job on her jowls. And tears. Gotta have the tears!

If I were Obama, I'd consider wearing Kevlar underwear.

One other ominous sign of impending doom for the Clintons: On Rush today there was the story of a youthful "super delegate" who had had a breakfast meeting with Chelsea Clinton. Guess what? He announced today that he's voting for Barak Hussein Obama. I've heard that one or two New Jersey superdelegates have announced they've left the sinking ship.

Turn out the lights ...... the party's over.

There is no one that would be happier then me to see the end of the clinton machine, however, what does obama have in store for us. I hope clinton tears the party apart so we won't have to deal with an obama presidency.

Talking Re: It's Over

If the Hildabeast loses Texas and Ohio, then I think it is safe to say it is over! If, however, the
Hildabeast recovers, this could go to the convention in Denver, and see 1968 all over again!! The Clintons are the 2 most "corrupt" human beings on the planet Earth!!

What's left for her now is to muster some grace, humility and character, and begin the process of pulling out. To do otherwise will destroy the Democratic Party, and what's left of the Clintons' badly tarred and tattered reputation.
Neither of the Clinton's seem the type to fade into the woodwork. One can only hope they have the power to split the D party.

I am very concerned with the possibility of an Obama presidency with long coattails.

That's probably the farthest thing from Hildebeest's and Bubba's mind.

As Dennis Miller said the other day on BOR, "The Clinton's aren't in the 'Democrat Party business', they're in the Clinton business." Malevolent, ruthless, self-centered, one-way.

No one you will ever know knows as many people who died under mysterious circumstances, knew as many criminals, made as much money in ways they refuse to reveal, told as many lies .... as William Blythe Jefferson Clinton and Monica Lewinsky's boyfriend's wife.
