Default Rupert Murdoch Picks Liberal Son As Successor

By Cliff Kincaid
December 12, 2007

Sean Hannity, the conservative Republican commentator who takes on such controversial issues as Hillary Clinton's legal work in a communist law firm, could be on his way out of the Fox News Channel as a result of Rupert Murdoch's decision to turn the company over to his liberal son James.

James Murdoch, 34, who buys into global warming hysteria, has in recent days been labeled the "News Corporation Heir" and "Son King" because of changes in the company that have dramatically increased his power. The Fox News Channel is one part of Murdoch's News Corporation.

While James Murdoch is based in London and is now being given control of News Corp's business in Europe and Asia, he is scheduled to take control of U.S. operations when Peter Chernin, the president of News Corporation who is based in New York, steps down. Chernin is himself a prominent Democrat.

Well, we know James is a liberal. The question is: "Is he stupid enough to destroy the profitablity of FoxNews by making it just like all the other leftist networks?"

If so, there will be another network to pick up on the popularity of personalities like Hannity and O'Reilly.

CNN is not ignorant to the fact the Glenn Beck is among it's highest rated programs.

Does Murdoch know that his son holds liberal views? Does he care if his son does? Has Murdoch always wanted to keep FNC "Fair and Balanced?" Does he still want FNC stay like that when his son takes over? We may never know.

One thing for sure, Murdoch wants to keep his media empire in the family even if his son turns it into another liberal media.

When Fox turns into another whining, slobbering mass of incoherent liberalism, I wonder of the Demoncratics will still push for censorship of the air waves.

This is not good news for Conservatives.
