Losers

If Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is right, nearly 60 percent of Americans agree with him that the war in Iraq is already lost. And if he is correct in saying that losing the war will increase Democrat majorities in future elections, then it may be fair to conclude that Americans now love losers. I'm not buying any of it -- and neither are the troops who are fighting this war.

In the days since Reid announced "this war is lost," I have heard from dozens of the soldiers, sailors, airmen, Guardsmen and Marines that I have covered in eight trips to Iraq and two to Afghanistan for FOX News. Some of those who correspond with me are there now, others are home. Some are preparing to deploy again. None of them agree with Reid's assessment.

Harry Reid isn't fit to shine the boots or dig a latrine for our brave troops. Harry reid allegedly suports our troops while undermining their morale at every turn. I think its time for Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, John Murtha et al to come out of the closet and admit to the citizens of the united states that they are members of AL QUEDA and are in favor of the subjegation of the western world to islamo fascist.

When are the so-called leaders in the Executive Branch going to fight for their rightful control over foreign affairs? Pelosi goes to Syria. Reid and friends declare defeat, and they (with the help of RHINO's) proceed to attempt to cause it to happen. This is out of control. Will the real leader of the Free World please stand up? Or are the real leaders now Pelosi and Reid? Their treasonous acts should have them in a federal prison at the least.

I so totally agree with Ollie. I thing a good solution for Reid and Pelosi and many other of the out of touch Senators is to fit them in combat geer with a bad pair of boots, send them to Iraq for a months tour of duty on the front lines with no weapons to fight with but their sick philosophy. How else can they learn the truth. They live in world that doesn't exist.
They are out of touch with reality. We must win this war!!

Sadly, we don't have leaders, the republicans are afraid of the demorats, and are saying that they don't want to get to their level...... well when you are dealing with pigs you don't deal as if you are dealing with human beings, you MUST get down to their level and show those bullies that we can also play dirty... of course it'll never happen and we will be left in the dust with our superior "we are better than they are"
attitude. And that will bring us what?????

hello ,
my name is linda fairchild, mother of an american soldier who served 14 months in iraq. americans are no losers. realistic. this is a war that we will not win, because it is not our war to win.
i encouraged my son to join national guard and he did after 911. fresh out of high school the government sent my son to iraq. he saw many things, friends blown up, and many things he will not even discuss with us.
since his return home , he has detached himself from family that loves him, friends who care for him and is basically homeless. he drinks, gets into bar room brawls and talks of suicide. we have tried to get him to seek help through va but he refuses.
i have written letters that upon their arrival home they should not be given the option for physcoligical treatment, it should be mandatory. i will not shut up until this is done.
our government has failed us. my son basically died in iraq and they have shown no remorse for it.
i know there are many more soldiers like mine.
i say bring them home,. build our defenses, keep them out of this country and let them die if they want to. as far me , im done.

Your letter really made me pause and think. I hope your son can get the treatment he needs for Post Traumatic Stress. I pray that he responds to the treatment. Yours and your son's sacrifices are the ones none of us want to make, yet you have, and you live with the "loss" on a daily basis. I know you will never give up on your son and I hope you make headway into getting better treatment for all returning soldiers. I have heard from others that PTS is far greater in this conflict than any other.

Likewise, even though you are suffering, the solution is not to give up and let the Iraqis fight themselves to death. The consequences to the world are far greater than any suffering we can imagine today.

Keep up the fight on all fronts and God Bless you and yor family.

I know; let's pull the Missouri out of Pearl Harbor and sail it over to the Gulf so we can have a formal surrender ceremony on deck, just like McArthur did in 1945

We can have Sen. Reid sign 'the instrument of surrender' along with representatives of Al Qaeda, Syria, and Iran. Then Iranian President Mahmoud Aqua-velva-jad could announce that "...these proceedings are now closed."

Hey, if we've lost, let's really lose. I'm sure that Sen. Reid and the rest of the Democrat caucus would be proud to take ownership of this moment.

Special thanks to Sen. Harry 'We've Lost' Reid for this inspirational, moral building vision of what could be.

I am so sick of hearing from Pelosi/Reid/Murtha, if they do not like it here get rid of them. They are not Americans even if they were born here, they have no patriotism. Sick of these whiners, they are the losers.

Perhaps we could all send Dirty Harry & Nazi Pelosi some white flags to take with them to the front line!
