Special Report: Censoring The Conservative Media

The Free Congress Foundation on Friday, April 13, is hosting a panel discussion on liberal attempts to bring back the Fairness Doctrine in order to intimidate, harass and censor the conservative media. I am pleased to participate because the threat is a real one. In a new report posted on the AIM website, we document how leading Democrats and their allies have no compunctions about using the full force of the federal government to manipulate media coverage in their favor. The Fairness Doctrine would put bureaucrats from the Federal Communications Commission in charge of managing editorial content on radio and TV networks, channels and stations.

The organized left-wing campaign against Fox News, in order to keep Democratic presidential candidates out of any debates sponsored or co-sponsored by the channel, is a taste of what is to come. The left-wing campaign against Fox News is one reason why the channel hired former liberal Democratic Congressman Harold Ford, Jr. as a commentator and analyst.

We need to criminalise ALL efforts to reimpose the "Fairness" Doctrine and prosecute such transgressions of the First Amendment rights of the conservative vast majority as treason, sedition, and violations of the Racketeering and Influenced Corrupt Organisations Act.

I find this troubling. The econuts are bound that the Africans will not progress beyond the 18th century and now their cohorts, the medinuts are pushing possibly harmful drugs on them.

The Fairness Doctrine, however, won't help the reporting on this news. It can only help the liberal media.

Liberals have been trying to get any word from any conservative off the public airways ever since RUSH, FOX and the Internet began. This going overboard on Imus is setting up the need for regulation of radio, internet and tv, so as not to hurt anyones feelings.
Some say most Americans don't think long term strategy....I think this is wrong. Liberals do think long term strategy but not in foreign policy. They only strategize about getting and keeping power here. How brilliant was it to start the welfare state which equals millions of voters each and every year. Or starting the HATE BUSH campaign the night he won the 2000 election, I'll never forget Dan Rather saying with a deer in the headlights look "No matter what you think of George W. Bush, he just became our president".

Watch what they do and say wonder how can that advance their power. I ask what is our strategy and where is it?

Our strategy should be straightforward and fairly simple to understand.

* We need to educate our friends, family, neighbours, and fellow employees about the destructive effects of the neoliberalism

pushed by the Democrats. This means we need to show where others like them have failed before and why if allowed to steal

more power from us they will force even more failure upon us and it will ultimately fail.

* We need to get back to our Lincoln/Reagan principles. We need to get back to smaller government, lower taxes, more

freedom, and encouragement of freedom, not to mention we need to get serious once again with border security. This means

putting the leadership on notice: GET BACK TO WHAT WORKS FOR US INSTEAD OF PLAYING DEMOCRAT LITE

OR PLAN ON GETTING REPLACED.

* We need to start fighting back against the activist judiciary, the activist Congress, and the activist media.

* We need to start recalling EVERY Democrat at EVERY level of government. We need to recall EVERY US House

Democrat, EVERY US Senate Democrat, EVERY State House Democrat, EVERY State Senate Democrat, EVERY State

Assembly Democrat, EVERY State Legislature Democrat, and EVERY State Executive Branch Democrat...and subject them

to an open recall election, without primaries, a winner-take-all event. What Californians did in 2003 by booting the media

puppet Red Davis and electing Arnold Schwarzenegger governor needs to be implemented on a NATIONAL SCALE. We

CAN tip the balance of power BACK TO THE SIDE OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, and AWAY FROM THE

CONTROLLED MEDIA.

* THEN we need to start removing activist judges from the federal courts.

* THEN we need to either motivate Alberto Gonzales to start going after the REAL threats to our freedom --- ie the

neocommunist neosocialist neoliberal gangs like the ACLUnatics, MoveOn.CUBA, the People for the Un-American way, the

National Socialist Lawyers Guild, the Centre for so-called "Science" in the so-called "Public Interest", People for the "ethical

treatment" of Animals, the National Diseducation Association, Democracy In Action, anything associated with George Soros,

and the American Federation of Liberal Teachers, and use the RICO Act and the Federal Election Code to break them up and

send the traitors involved to prison and/or into exile in Cuba or China or Viet Nam or Zimbabwe or Venezuela.

* THEN we need to start giving the Border Patrol and the INS more powerful firearms and give them the AUTHORITY AND

COMMAND to SHOOT TO KILL ALL borderjumping freeloading foreigners, ESPECIALLY those jumping the Mexican

border, Mexican and non-Mexican alike.

* WE also need to start fighting the Global War On Terror MORE EFFICIENTLY by using our technological advantages

more intensively. A traditional ground/ground combat just won't cut it anymore. We could have already secured Iraq by the

end of '05 and Afghanistan by the end of '06, not to mention we could have taken out Kim Jong Mentally Il's Tinkertoy missile

stands at Musudanri after he threatened Japan with his missile launch on our Independence Day, and even knocked

Makhmudswing Ahmadinejihad out of power.

* WE need to stop wasting taxpayers monies and go through the A To Z Guide of Government Waste and cut off ALL

wasteful funding programmes. THEN we need to close certain cabinet level departments that belong in state and/or local

and/or private hands. I would suggest closing the following departments:

* Education Department
* Department of Health and Human Services
* Department of the Interior (leave the US Parks Service as a standalone entity)
* Department of Commerce
* Department of Housing and Urban Development
* Department of Energy

In addition we should fold the Department of Homeland Security into the State Department and then fold the Veterans Affairs

Department into the Department of Defence.

* Then we need to implement real tax reform. That means SCRAPPING THE TAX CODE and going to either the Fair Tax

(one national tax collected only by businesses on a per-purchase, per transaction basis) or a Flat Tax with breaks limited to

necessary functions for home, family, and business.

Once we communicate those concerns we can expect to gain back a thunderous landslide that will make the controlled media wet their breeches and the independent media stand proud once again.
