I am sick and tired. Sick and tired of how some in this country are turning their backs on our troops at a time when they need our support the most!

This is why I am taking action to speak up, and in particular, why I am helping to lead the "THESE COLORS DON'T RUN" national pro-troop/patriotic caravan being organized by Move America Forward.

This is my letter to you, the American people.

Semper Fidelis: These are not just mere words, they have a meaning greater than their literal definition in a dictionary. They mean "Always Faithful."

Not only is this the motto of the United States Marines, but also of their families, and it has spilled over into the hearts and souls of all those who serve in every branch of our military and their families as well.

RIGHT ON!

Finally someone with some courage, this letter needs to be printed where more people can see it, and/or discuss it.

The gloves need to come off. We don't spend all this money training our military to send them over there and not let them put that training to use.

Our military is the finest and bravest in the world and it's time that people like Jihad Jane, Cindy Sheehan, John Kerry and the rest of their ilk realize it. Those that don't want to should be charged with giving aid and comfort to the enemy. Doesn't matter who they are. You can't be with the troops but against the cause they are fighting for. The thought of that is just insane.

As for politicians like John Murtha, he should be ashamed to call himself a Marine, he's a cut and run coward. Or John Kerry that got out of his service with shrapnel from a rock he shot at, the equivalent of shooting yourself in the foot to stay home from duty, he too is a cut and run coward. These two wouldn't make it in today's service, they're not brave enough.

My thoughts and prayers are with all our troops and their families. God Bless you all!

You go girl!!! I, too, am sick and tired of the mainstream media trying to shove their views down my throat. I couldn't be prouder of our military or more grateful for their dedicated service. I'd like to see some sort of effort being made to make sure there IS a welcome home contingent, besides families of the military, at the airports to greet these heros, and to shake their hands and thank them for their sacrifice. Washington needs to set aside their personal agenda of bashing our President and start realizing that they are empowering those who want us dead.

This letter should be on the front page of every newspaper in the US, it says what many of us really feel.

Terri, can we send a copy of this to our local papers? Copy right problems, do we have to get Deborah Johns OK?

No more Vietnams! I still vividly remember the cowardice of our politicians caving to the hippies and liberals and do-nothings in our society back then. That generation of losers cannot take hold again. Our troops are mostly volunteer heroes and I hold them in the highest regard, far above power-hungry politicians who hypocritically voice support while simultaneously creating a voice for the enemy. Stand tall America, our best times are still ahead of us. Let's once again have one nation under God. God Bless the USA and all of our brave fighting military.

God Bless YOU!!!!!!! This letter speaks volumes. It is EXACTLY how I feel and how we as Americans should feel. Read this Ted Kennedy and all you liberal bums. This is from a soldier's mom. Wake up and stop using our soldiers to further your political carreers.

Amen and Amen! This lady knows how to write and to say what she thinks! I am with her 100%, and I am elated to read items that I have been thinking and saying.
I wish a copy of this could be sent to every senator & representative in the US Congress, to every Hollywoodite who would not know reality if it smacked them in the face and every newspaper and TV/radio station in the country!
I am so glad to hear and see someone with guts in this country, and I'm glad to see it was a woman, who has her head on her shoulders and not stuck in the ground or elsewhere!

Way to go Lady, but the Demoncrats have their marching orders from George Soros and the Hollyword worthless creeps so do not expect much other than more of the same old B.S. "We hate the war, but we love our troops" crappola. It is hard to get your message out because the vast majority of the media is in the grip of the Islamic camp, your letter should be front page news everywhere, but instead you will be attacked and vilified. A campaign to drop subsciptions and stay away from all movies might be a good start at getting heard.
