Two manufactured events took place this week that lend credence to the notion that we live in very dangerous times. The first, the detonation of a "suitcase nuke" nuclear device on American soil by Islamist terrorists, as portrayed on the FOX series "24," was fiction. The second, the updating of the "Doomsday Clock" to five minutes to midnight, though based in scientific reasoning, is also artificial. But when viewed through the terroristic chaos in which the world is embroiled only the naive and those in denial can afford the luxury of discounting the probability of an "American Hiroshima" taking place in the near future.

Really, we should be thinking of the 24 scenario... in fact, it should be foremost in our minds. IMO, it is a likely scenario. I know it's the DREAM of OBL and Amandiwhoever (Iran), and I'm sure many hundreds of other IslamoNazis. They only have to make it once.

But really, IMAGINE.... the emergency services that would be necessary. Our military would no doubt be called in. (Like in the tsunami, remember? And it PALES in comparison to this.)

Then, would we retaliate? If so, when?

But with all this to consider, we voted for a bunch of cut and runners... short sighted, narcissistic, political demegogues....

However, I do put the blame on our leaders as NONE OF THEM TELL IT LIKE IT IS. It takes a fiction show to point out the OBVIOUS! Not PC to tell the truth any longer.

When, in the beginning the left was calling GWB "Hitler"... WHERE WERE OUR GUYS SAYING "HEY!! HE'S KEEPING US FROM BEING BLOWN TO BITS!" Well, they were/are afraid of looking intolerant... and maybe worried about being sued by CAIR. Again

9/11 wasn't enough to make America ANGRY and SCARED... what will it take?

Maybe FOX and Hollywood, is doing us a service here.

Playing the ends against the middle.

I think it might be a good thing, that families view, this possibility.

It sure put us on our toes in the '50s, while we ducked and covered in the school hallways. (and standing on your toes while you duck and cover, is an amazing achievement.) Sometimes the nearly impossible is what it takes to wake up an entire civilization, who is so asleep in their luxuries, they need Mushroom Clouds, (suggested only) to make them sit up and THINK.

I would just hope and pray that FOX puts closed caption explainations of what ''24'' is all about, for the DingDongDems, so they realize, that this is fiction emulating life, in it's worst scenerio.

The biggest problem is WHERE. If it is done by terrorist we would have to conduct an investigation to determine where the material came from - then, what if it was something smuggled out of China or Russia, but not their doing? Closing all the borders and inspecting everything before it gets in the US makes a lot more sense. Of course that kind of thinking makes me a racist.

Yeah, I realize that too... one of the reasons we can't really effectively fight the current WOT like a conventional war... a strength for the terrorists... who do we attack?

As for the "racist" part...

I'll get myself into trouble.... again.

Suffice it to say that we aren't at war with people of color/nation/etc... but with an ideology.

CAIR was crying in their prayer rugs again tonight over "24" on the BOR show. BOR wasn't very effective in countering the CAIR representative. I do wish he'd get it together when he has one of those people on.

BOR comes across to me like he really doesn't believe we could be attacked from within sometimes. I just don't know where he's coming from.

MY greatest fear regarding such a scenario as this is that if it were to be played out in the real world, something would be awakened in the minds and hearts of Americans which would have been better off undisturbed... and on that day we would be Americans no longer.

What we would become afterwards, I don't even want to think about...
