It is the job of the Speaker of the House to pass Obama's radical agenda.

Passing it is a function of numbers.

Every conservative should realize how important it is to stop it.

While it is true that Democrats already have a large majority in the House, they also have to convince an unknown number of Blue Dogs to support their agenda, and that hasn't been going so well lately.

On Tuesday, two more liberal Democrats were added to the vote FOR Obama's radical agenda. I would like to have more votes AGAINST Obama's agenda.

Of course more liberal votes is a win for Pelosi. It was the only Democrat win but winning votes to advance the agenda is big. Our side would certainly have thought it big to win some votes to stop the advancement of socialism.

Winning in VA and NJ gave us big momentum and a big psychological advantage and that's very important for next year but we didn't win any votes to help stop the radical agenda NOW. The other side won votes to ADVANCE it.

I understand all that. I also understand this:

Election result: Red-state Dems worried, rethink agenda

We'll see what happens soon. If the health care vote gets postponed past Saturday we'll know she doesn't have the votes.

But we know right now that two more Democrats were added to the House in Tuesday's election and zero Republicans were added.

Congress is where the agenda is advanced or killed and two is more than zero, so yes, she won seats, we didn't.
