Using the GOPUSA Forum

Posting Hints

• New threads started with an article should be placed in the area of the forum that best matches the topic of the article.
  
• New threads started with your comments and no article should be placed in Rants and Essays.
  
• When a thread is misplaced it will be moved by a moderator and a forwarding link will be left behind.
  
• Please stay on topic in our threads. All members may start a new thread if there is not an active thread on the topic they would like to discuss.
  
• Please do NOT post emails. Much info in forwarded emails is rumor and often inaccurate.
  
• Please observe the following GOPUSA copyright rule when posting articles or photos.
  

  5. The Forum at GOPUSA respects U.S. copyright laws. A small portion of copyrighted articles may be posted for the purpose of discussion. Please limit those postings to 100-150 words and provide a link to the original article. Credit the author and publication in your post. Use the title of the article as it appears at the originating site. Do not post copyrighted images. Post only your own images -- photos you have taken or graphics you have created.

• All debate should be civil and center on issues rather than member personalities. All posts should be family friendly.
  
• The Forum at GOPUSA has a daily chat thread called Today in the Precinct. All members are welcome to drop in for a cup of cyber coffee and get acquainted with other members. There is no debate there but everything is covered from politics to the daily activities of our members. Come chat with us!

• Staying logged in - Be sure to click the checkbox next to your username when you login. That will set a small cookie on your computer that should keep you logged in until you choose to logout.
  
• To quote from another post: Copy the portion of the remarks you would like to quote and paste them into your own new post. Highlight them with your cursor and click the quote button (looks like a small speech bubble). If you also want to copy and paste the special effects (font, size, emoticons) from the original post click the symbol that looks like two capital A letters. That will change the editor you are using and what ever you copy and paste will retain it's original appearance. You will still need to highlight it after you've pasted it and click the quote button.
