The President met with the Saudi prince in Crawford yesterday. What do you all think of what you've heard in news reports?

The GDP is up 5.8% in the first quarter. The stock market is surging on that news.

In the not such good news department the criticism of the President and everything his administration does is really going strong. I wonder if a wartime President has ever received this much criticism. http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/ne_nau.gif

There is some truly awful news too. http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif There has been a school shooting in Germany. They are saying 18 dead but the reports are just coming in so it's uncertain.

Yes, each state section now has the ability to run it's own polling. So, if there is a poll you'd like to see, just drop a line to your state editor and ask.

The German school massacre sounds absolutely terrible. Such a reminder of Columbine. I guess there are terrible nutcases everywhere. My heart goes out to all of the victims' families.

I've been out running around most of the day. I peeked in once or twice but had to leave the house again.

Well, it's been quiet in here today for sure. I was asked to go and stay with grandchildren for the night so I was away overnight to do this! What a lovely thing to hear these young kids tell their friends on the phone, &quot;We sure have a kewl Grandma!&quot; Heartwarming for sure!

I'm way behind the times as far as the news is concerned...hadn't even heard of the shooting in Germany! That's so sad. I'm going to go and see what I can find out now about that.
