Now, I'm going to take the dog for a walk and then come back to do some gardening.

Good morning all. Yesterday was a really good day - I didn't hear anything stupid from Daschle or Gephardt. Maybe, after their last goof and they had to back-track, they decided to cool it for a while. I don't think I have ever seen two individuals more adept at shooting their own foot. If they continue in this vein we will have more Republicans - probably ex-democrats. It is now yard work time so I will check in later.

The Chinese Airline crash is so sad. I just heard that one woman has lost 11 family members on the plane!

And now a train crash in Mozambique with over 200 people killed and over 400 people injured. What a terrible day for crashes!

Yesterday and today I planted 72 flowers around our church sign. *Ooooh, my aching back and other areas, etc. *I miscalculated and have to buy and plant 11 more--rats! *Hopefully, they will all live. *It's pretty dry around here and the sun beats on that area pretty much all day, so I'll have to trek over there every day for the first couple of weeks to water them.:( *
