Did you watch any of the Sunday political shows on TV? *Colin Powell was on most of them. Some people think that he very closely reflects the political philosophy of the last administration. What do you think?

Just got home from work and the first think I hear on the TV is that Saddam is cutting off our supply of oil from Iraq. Then I heard Condi Rice say that he may live to regret it because oil doesn't taste all that good. Way to go Condi. :thumbsup:

Also saw Col. Hackworth on Cavuto and he's rarin' to go kick some backside in Iraq.

Interesting news today. I saw that Bush was heckled at a conference in (I think) Texas. I'll have to go back and find the article.

RIM... I hadn't heard Condi's response to the no oil SadDAM. *Priceless Condi! *I haven't been the least bit impressed with Colin Powell since Desert Storm...and I'm even less impressed now.

SueElise... sorry you had a lousy day again! *Maybe you should be looking to expand your career path! *Life is too short to be miserable at a place you have to spend alot of your life. *I have a dear friend who used to be a teacher, became disenchanted, quit, and is now working for a school textbook publisher/map maker. *She's been VERY successful, and is making oodles of money....and couldn't be happier!

BIG SMILES to all our new members! Actually, we're all kinda new and seniority never counts....so....JUMP in and get involved!

Hi pRIMrose! Good for Condi! I guess Saddam will affect the price but not the supply of oil. The cartel has said they will make up any difference, for a price of course. :o

Maybe we should just turn Hackworth loose on them. Sounds OK to me.

Argggh!!! I have O'Reilley on with Jocelyn Elders as his guest. She's explaining how the new book about sex with children is OK. I think I'm going to have to turn it off. That was a really great Newsletter that arrived in my mailbox from GOP. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

We in Canada have been involved in the many happenings going on in London, England as final preparations are being made for the funeral of one of the world's great ladies tomorrow. I do believe that the world has been amazed at the solid turnout of people paying their respects from as far away as California, Brazil, New Zealand and of course, Canada and South Africa and many, many other countries.
