We welcome our guests to register and join in. All viewpoints are welcome here. Stop by to tell us what's happening at your house and to comment on what's going on in the world.

It's been a really busy newsweek. Check the forums for the latest news. There are some alarming things posted there.

Here are a few news bits from yesterday:

There is a poll showing that 72% of Israelis support war. See it here. (http://gopusa.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/topic.cgi?forum=6&topic=28)

Prime Minister Blair has arrived in Texas for a meeting with the President.

Remember Kathleen Willey?? *One of the women that Clinton harrassed. She's going to have her own radio show in Richmond, VA. That might be really interesting.

Leaflets are appearing in Afghanistan offering a bounty for Americans captured dead or alive.

Two more lawsuits have been filed against the Campaign Finance Reform law.

Good Morning Terri and GOPUSA!

Terri ~ you can't fool me http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif I know this is the 6th of April. *No way am I going to have two Fridays'. :chuckle:

So much going on every day and most of it very depressing. *Just heard on Fox (Tony Snow) saying that they were considering taking away the "Peace Prize" from Shimon Perez(sp) but that Arafat should keep his? * *

On that note I'm going to turn off the TV and spend the day out in my yard. *Spring has sprung and I want to take advantage of the beautiful weather before it gets too hot to go outside.

I'll come by now and then and see what's going on. *

Have a great day all!

Hi Terri and RIM!

RIM, I'm following you around today it seems!! LOL

AND....you're going out gardening??? Is it really Spring? Hell, not here... I can tell you that! We've had snow everyday this week! At least today it is sunny, but still brisk. I think I'm going to venture out today for a HUGE antique flea market (we're talkin' all day walking around on rocks) after I don my nanook parka, hat, gloves and scarf. Geezzzzzzzzzzzzzz, when will it end???????? I'll let you know what gems I find.... because I ALWAYS do at this place. It's unbelievable.

Good Morning to you all...

I'm also very interested in hearing how the meetings go between Mr. Blair and Mr. Bush. We'll be waiting anxiously for some reports on this.

But until this comes out, I'm also going to be doing lots of spring cleanup around here and visiting with family so I won't be around much during the day.

So see you all later on.

The 6th??? By golly, it is the 6th. Got that little bobble all fixed up now. *

RIM, I saw something about Shimon Peres too. That makes it a little hard to take the Nobel committee very seriously, doesn't it?

Saber, what a visual! I hope you can still walk after you get all those things on. http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Aberfoyle, I wonder just how much we will really find out of the meetings between the Prime Minister and the President.

Now, I have a question for everyone. The President met the Prime Minister at the helicopter yesterday very casually dressed. Of course, that is the custom at the ranch. But, should he have dressed up a bit for that meeting?? *Does it matter one way or the other??

I've posted a couple of new articles for you to check out. I know everyone is busy with spring activities but stop by when you can and let us hear your comments. http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Well, you know how the song goes, Aknauta!

When it's Springtime in Alaska, it's 40 below!
You have to pay the price for all that beauty somehow. http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Did anyone see the Bush/Blair news conference? *

There's also been a report of shelling of the Arafat compound in the West Bank.

Don't forget:

Set your clocks forward one hour tonight before you go to bed! Daylight Savings times is here and it's going to be dark in the morning!
