'Radio Free NRA' Considers Broadcasting From Mexico

NewsMax
December 17, 2003

Just because the lefty majority of the U.S. Supreme Court wants to trash the First Amendment and kick those soft-money-addicted Democrats doesn't mean that National Rifle Association will be silenced.

"Instead of trying to buy a domestic radio or cable TV station, the NRA might go gunning for its enemies from outside U.S. borders. Rifleman Wayne LaPierre tells us he may skip the whole controversy by buying or teaming with a Mexican radio station on the U.S. border," reports U.S. News & World Report's Paul Bedard.

LaPierre says: "If I could find a radio station in Mexico with 50,000 watts, I would go with them. Fifty thousand watts would cover over half the country."

Hey LaPierre,

Buy two, then you will reach the whole country. Also shortwave will allow you to reach the world with a good healthy source of American Conservatism. After listening to some of the bozos from Europe(Chirac, Soros, and the usual suspects) the world needs it real bad.

Creative concept! Let's do it, Mr. LaPierre! That might be the last straw for the Dems; the sanity is really running thin in that camp these days anyway as evidenced by comments in green rooms, from television interviews, from the campaign stump, and anywhere else a Liberal's mouth is moving.

Radio Free NRA from Mexico is a fantastic idea!

Of course, George Soros / Algore will be right behind us to establish those Democrat airways from a higher tower since they have only ABC, NBC, MSNBC, PBS, CNN, et al! http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/music.gif

I agree with Harry Reeves, jr. *We are not really free unless we can arm ourselves for protection. Women and children have to hide in a lot of places, like Chicago, New York City, or in our nations capitol, Washington D.C.. They have very strict gun laws, and the crime rate is high. Australia is getting to be the same, along with England. We must not make laws that go against the Constitution. In states where people can carry a firearm, crime rates are much lower. The NRA needs to get this message out to the general public. XERF in Villa Acuna is one to cover a good portion of the Southern USA, and XERB is good for California where the truth is badly needed. XM satellite radio could really use a non partisan NRA channel. I would listen to it, but for me, it would just be preaching to the choir. * * * * * * * * * * Joel T. Olsen

The Supremes just knocked the s#@* out of the First Amendment, until there's a different make-up of the Court, I sure hope no case reaches them concerning the Second.

One thing that has always been lacking in education, is the importance of the Nomination process of the Judiciary. A wide majority of people have no idea that the ultimate, official, okey-dokey in jurisprudence, is the decision currently in the lap of one undecisive woman. Sandra Day O'Conner knows exactly what power she has, but like most women(present company excepted) her position is never consistant.

The sooner relevant legislation is passed curbing the power of the Supreme and lesser courts, the better off the Country is going to be.

Wayne LaPierre is a beast! *He's making Algore cry! *For shame!

BTW, isn't Washington D.C. trying to repeal some of their more draconian bans on guns?
