I will wrap my self in the flag if I want.

I would like to know who exactly is going to tell me how much patriotism is enough? Who was it that put them in charge, that they can tell us when we have waved our flag one to many times? It is a shame to be proud of your country, I certainly don’t think so but some people do. They want to tell me that if I am proud of my country that is showing American elitism, that we think we are better than everyone else. News flash, we are better we have a better military, better lifestyle and we have freedom and I will not apologize for that.
CMT, brings on the original traitor Dan Rather to tell Toby Keith that he is doing nothing but wrapping himself in the flag, while every other commercial is showing the Dixie Chicks and if they need a comment it is by Sheryl Crow. All of this designed to tell us to stop waving our flags so high we are offending other countries, I think I will stop watching CMT and put my flag up higher. God forbid someone speak for those who are proud of their country, we can’t have that. Let’s fill the airwaves with how we are tyrants and Bush is head of the Gestapo.
We have not heard anything about Afghanistan in weeks, but you let us make a mistake over there and guess what that country suddenly exists again. Certainly wouldn’t want to tell us when something good happens now would they. How many times have you seen in print or on TV or heard on the radio that we are doing well in either country. To hear them say it both countries are holding our troops hostage and won’t give them back.
Well I for one trust that our troops are doing their best and will ultimately prevail, I think our president genuinely cares for our troops, never wanted to have to put them in harms way but simply saw no other choice. I think the major media are traitors to the American people, the troops and our president. They are bought and paid for by the Hollywood elite and the lets make Clinton look like a real president crowd.
I will keep my Flag sticker on my vehicle as a matter of fact I might just buy me a bigger one. I will fly my flag high and I will tell you now I will say the pledge with Under God and I dare anyone to tell me I cannot, and that includes the almighty Supreme Court. If you want to take my flag as we Texans said a long time ago, Come and get it!
I have seen America at her best, caring for the wounded and wiping each others tears. I have seen America at her worst, fighting for one vote and destroying each other in the process. You can sing about killing the president but not the enemy. You can say that America is a bully but not a hero. You can stand in support of Saddam but not George W. you can cheer on the Iraqi terrorists, but not our troops. You can call our troop’s murders but not the two evil men they killed. Is this what America has come to?
Is this really what we are all about? Is this America? This is not the America that I know and love, this is a fabrication made up by some hate mongering individuals who want more than anything else to control our country. I cannot let that happen, I cannot allow those people to destroy what our forefathers built. Once we were a strong God loving country, now we are a God hating country and we shall pay for those actions. Once we held our president in the highest esteem, now we curse him and make fun of him for the entire world to see and you don’t think we will pay dearly for that?
We have created an image in the worldview of a weak, immoral people who do nothing but fight among them selves. Not much different a picture than what we showed on September 10th and we paid dearly for that image.
