During this run up to the 2004 Democrat Convention, and the official anointing of the Democrat Sacrificial Lamb to lose in GW's Second Term election, the Democrats are awaiting which candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton is going to endorse.

Most of the details are in The Limbaugh Letter and The Drudge Report; suffice it to say that GW has to win outright (from the Democrat point of view) in order to assure an open seat in the 2008 Presidential Election. That will be Hillary's chance. So -- no Democrat will be able to win next year unless said Dem has Hillary's blessing. If he (or she) is able to break out of the pack, Hillary must knock said Dem down (hello Vince Foster, RIP); if not, she will be denied her run in 2008.

This does not preclude the Dems "drafting" Hillary to run after the brokered convention fails on first ballot to nominate a candidate.

"I, George Walker Bush, do solemnly swear that I shall faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will, to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States. So help me God." /s/George Walker Bush

This the 20th January, 2001; renewed the 20th January, 2005.

Unless.....the Dems smell blood next summer and Hillary marches into the Dem convention and walks out with a nomination.

Then we'll see.

What is there to wait for, none of he drawves have enough money or any traction. When it comes time for the convention they will all be cast aside like a old pair of shoes. Her Royal B*tchiness will sweep in to save the world for bribery, kick-backs, perjury, and communism. http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/usflag22.gif

Right Mark, but if she waits till the convention she limits her exposure. She can't afford to answer questions for the next year. But she can handle a friendly media for a couple of months.

I half hope they try to pull the Hillary card in a convention gambit - the question of who is trying to supplant the democratic process in America would be pretty well answered even for the idiots on the left.

That and I suspect that while Hillary may play well in LA parties, thankfully California alone doesn't elect the President.

That is just wishfull thinking on your part I'm afraid. The press will be to busy spuzzing all over themselves to tell the truth that it is a put-up job. Further, if whe stays on the bench until the convention she will avoid not only critique, she will save her money.
When she does pop out of the closet there will also be a limited time to remind the swing voters what a criminal she is.
This is all achidemic. Even stone liars like the B%tch have a hard time railling against success. The Dow is up, Hussien and Al-Quiada are out, Hamas is next and there is damn all Billary and her commie crew can do about it. They can't even at this point claim the victory as their own.
If Miss Thing does take the snap at the convention she will be at fourth and thirty in her own end zone with ten seconds on the clock and twenty points down. http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/usflag22.gif
