The RINOs are really doing a bad number to the Party. From pandering to illegal aliens and other criminals to subverting the pro-life plank of the party and culminating in the questionability of a GOP majority on anything thanks to them, folks need to have more info on who the RINOs are and what they are up to. The sooner they are spotlighted means the sooner they can be replaced.

We're seeing Conservative backlashes across the country with state parties being denied funds. What fool would give to a group such as the state party or RNSC when they know some of the money is likely to go to RINOs like Collins and McCain?

Great idea, a RINO watch. You can start by adding to the list: Hatch, and the 3 stooges in AZ, Kyle, McKain, and that third guy with the appropriate last name...oh yeah, Flake. There are a couple in the northeast and upper mid west who's names eludes me but by all means. Start a list

Happy birthday Marines, Nov 10, 1775, the Marine Corps was organized under the authority of the Continental Congress.

You've got that a little wrong. Kyl is a decent senator, and we're still holding out hope (in one hand, and a rope in the other) for Flake. You want to add Kolbe to that list, though. He's the other one on that amnesty bill, and his district covers almost half of the Arizona-Mexico border. We've got a guy who is talking about maybe taking him on, but it's a long shot at best, because the big-money folks down here are still firmly behind Kolbe.

Not to start a flame war, but you best add President Bush to that RINO watch.. He appears to be pandering to illegals and to Fox..

Hey knotheads! Let's deal with the Commiecrats first. They are truly ENIMIES OF THE PEOPLE AND CONSTITTUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
RINO'S are just spineless worms. If we have the numbers to control the houses we can kick the RINO'S back into line by taking away their toys.
We have a SLIM majority in the Senate, every seat counts, even when it is filled with an a** like McCain.
The idea is to win, we didn't set that rule of engagement, they did. So stop the brawling in the ranks, your making their job easier. http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/usflag22.gif

Well...as long as we're dealing with issues and not making it personal to "attack another member in any way (http://www.gopusa.com/legal/forump.shtml)".

After all, that "behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate loss of membership access to the GOPUSA Forum (http://www.gopusa.com/legal/forump.shtml)".

Sorry, it was a bad day. But that does not invalidate the point of the post. Intercene warfare will only serve the Clintonsky's and their fellow travelers. I apologize for the outburst, but not the reasoning behind it. http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/usflag22.gif

I understand your point of view and to a certain degree agree. However, when elected GOPers regularly break ranks to vote with Democrats and regularly ignore the 80+% of the electorate who want illegal aliens thrown out and their employers punished, the usefulness of RINOs to the GOP becomes extremely questionable.

The true "brawling in the ranks" are from those who ignore the GOP platform and vote like Democrats. (McCain, Collins, Snowe....)

If the GOP started advancing all Communist/Socialist agenda, would you still 100% support every candidate in the Party just because there was an "R" next to their name? No...I would hope not. Most RINOs are largely Socialists at heart...so why do we let them call themselves Republicans when they are clearly not, other than in title?

If you throw out our two "RINO's" here in Maine, who might rush in to fill the void?

I'll be one and you be the other, OK? http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/usflag22.gif

Heck, most of the folks around here are spend their time too drunk to care who is in the Senate. I'll install some subliminal message machines in the local bars telling them to vote for us. It would be a slamdunk!

Better put in a subliminal message to remind them to actually get off the bar stool and vote.

Specter Takes Political Hit (http://www.newsmax.com/archives/articles/2003/11/19/204036.shtml)

Wes Vernon
Thursday, Nov. 20, 2003

WASHINGTON – A leading conservative has come out swinging for the defeat of Sen. Arlen Specter, R-Pa., in the April primary where the senior lawmaker is fighting for his political life.

Paul M. Weyrich, Chairman of Free Congress Foundation PAC and National Chairman of Coalitions for America, Wednesday gave a ringing endorsement to Rep. Patrick Toomey, R.-Pa., who aims to unseat Specter (generally labeled "moderate to liberal") whose record during 4 terms in the Senate has leaned decidedly leftward – very much so by Republican standards.
More (http://www.newsmax.com/archives/articles/2003/11/19/204036.shtml)

The article mentions that if Specter is re-elected, this Liberal will likely become chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Forget defeating Democrats...conserva tive nominees will be opposed by folks with "R"s after their names.

2True, I apologze agaian. Would I pull support from a Republican that turned coat, YOUBETCHA! John McCain is a dispicable cad, givin the opportunity I will tell him to his face! In terms that would make my former Navy boot camp Company Commander pale and sweaty. R. Lee Ermy can take lessons from me. I can go on for hours and not repeat myself.
That does not take away from the fact that we are seven (7) seats from breaking the Berlin Wall in the Senate. We are close enough to that goal to taste it. After we have Clouter broken, we can quietly take McCain, Snow, and the rest of the RINO'S and let the know that oblivion awaits those that want to do the other side's bidding. Chairmanships, floor time, pet projects, all go BYBY! McCain, for example, does not need to be recognized by the chair. http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/usflag22.gif

Apparently Club for Growth is working on the same idea: http://www.clubforgrowth.co m/rino.php

They don't mention the criteria, though. I'd like to think it is based on the Party's stated platform rather than just being in lockstep with the current President. Probably just something economic.

Quick Google search shows CfG supports pandering to illegal aliens; so their opinion is a great big nothing to this guy....

2True, you and I should have peace between us. We have goals and enemies in common.
As I stated before, seven more seats and we can tell the Commies, "Thank you for sharing, now p*ss off!! Current election forcasts show this as a possiblity.
Once this goal is acheived there is much to do. The Flat Tax, Right to Carry in all 50 states, Tort Reform, Socialist Security Reform, and we can repeal that abomination McCain/Fingold. It needs to be replaced with real honest campaign financing. And then we can set about impeaching the five Supreme Jack*sses that upheld McCain/Fingold, because by doing so they violated the First Amendment Rights of every American citizen. http://www.gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/usflag22.gif
