WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Barack Obama said his decision on the U.S. strategy in Afghanistan will be made in "the coming weeks."

While military and security decisions will be an important element in that strategy, Obama said "another element is making sure we're doing a good job in building capacity on the civilian side."

The Obama administration is in the midst of an intensely debated review over how to overhaul its approach to the Afghan conflict. Gen. Stanley McChrystal, the U.S. commander in Afghanistan is believed to have presented Obama with a range of options, from adding as few as 10,000 troops to -- the general's strong preference -- as many as 40,000.

What happened to the 20,000 troops that were being sent already? Obama is dragging his feet once again at the expense of our troops!

Could it be he knew something about his nomination for the Nobel and was holding off on sending them?

Just asking because I would not put it past him!

Put your priorities on order Mr. President! We know all of your efforts of late are on getting the health care bill passed and you are working behind closed doors to see that it is done!

After all, it is about CONTROL isn't it?
And the first step in achieving your dream of a Socialistic society on an equal basis as our European allies. We know you think that we are not an exceptional society and you feel that we must conform to the new World Order as stated in you apology tour.

I wonder who is being primed for the head of that position on the world front?

Seems all of your speeches talk about a world vision with global funding for the poorest countries!

He is in his favorite mode, running for office. He loves to canmpaign, so he has already started politicing for the world job. I wish I could buy him for what I think he ia worth, and sell him for what he thinks he is worth.I could retire again and take a cruise.

Isn't Obama part of that same bunch that derisively mocked President Bush for saying that he was the 'decider' in matters related to the war? So is Barry going to puff up, pound his chest and declare, "I'm the indecisive indecider"?!

He makes me sick and angry.

Last night, he made a decision to host a party for Latin Americans instead of focusing on important issues.

Obama is not allowing our troops to go after the enemy since he feels innocent civilians will either be killed or wounded. Our troops in Afghanstan is using outdated equipment instead of using new and improved equipment.

He has declared the taliban not as dangerous. Al Qaeda and the taliban are equally as dangerous to this country and other parts of the world.
