Well we were living in California. I was woken up by my daughter, who was four at the time, at about 5:45 am, so I stumbled out of bed we walked into the living room and turned on the TV, just as I turned it on the news broke in on every channel. I wasnt sure what was going on at first, but my daughter and I stood their about a foot away from the TV just SHOCKED at what we were seeing, and we watched the entire thing as it was happening, just before the second plane hit I thought in passing that this might be an attack, but NO that couldnt be it...then the second plane hit and I just remember swelling up with so much anger, because at that moment I knew what was happenning...my daughter still remembers what she saw, and what happened. She began to cry as she watched the second plane hit....I remember holding her in from of the TV and I was filled with so much emotion that I swelled up.

That was a terrible day for America, and especially for those of you who were directly affected. My heart and prayers go out to everyone who lost a loved one in this.

I hope my daughter will never forget what she saw, and carries that with her into the future. She needs to know that their are people out in the world who hate us simply for being Americans.

It was already afternoon here in Germany and I just had returned from school.
I had no plans for the day so I wanted to relax and switched on the TV. Suddenly the program was interrupted and they showed pictures of the first air plane hitting the WTC.

The moderator wasn't really in controll of his voice when he commented on what had just happened.

I called my mum still at work and dad with the phone.
They hadn't heard about it yet and first thought it was a terrible accident until I called them again and said a second plane had hit the second tower.

I remember running around in the house and being shocked and angry at the same time. I watched the moderators trying to find an answer to all the open questions when suddenly the second tower collapsed on the screen behind them while they were talking.

We kept on following the pictures until late at night.

I pray for all the victims of Sept. 11th and for their families. May God bless them all.
