(CNSNews.com) - Will the Rev. Rick Warren be allowed to give the invocation at the inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama? Maybe not, if atheist Michael Newdow gets his way.

A federal judge said Monday that he will hear arguments by Newdow, the American Humanist Association and 38 other atheist groups and individuals out to stop prayers from being said on Jan. 20.

U.S. District Judge Reggie Walton said he found “good cause” to hear Newdow’s case and set a hearing for Jan. 15.

It amazes me that an American has court "standing" to argue against prayer at the Presidential inaguration but doesn't have court "standing" to request the Presidents eligibility to even be there.

I wonder where this IDIOT gets his money? He never seems to work? Does this MORON have nothing more important to worry about than a prayer being said at the inagural? I wish the Almighty would send a lightening bolt Newdow's way and put him out of my misery. Newdow and people of his ilk are truely beyond contempt!

Next thing ya know, this nutter will be railing against all references to God, in the Constitution and Declaration of Independence be removed, including the original document!

Newdow, sit down and shut up, that's good enough for Christians, in yer view, so follow yer own advice.....

And PRAY tell, just what does the good liberal judge think is 'good cause'?

You are right MeaganM the liberal judges cannot find 'good cause' to have the sainted O produce proof of his birth, but as usual they are trying to squash the heritage of the men who made this country 'Under God'.

Someone explain to me why this small group of Al Queda like sissies, called atheist are even gaining the ear of the court, on what grounds, on whose dime?

I will be the first to admit I am not the best example of a Christian but this intolerant bunch of whining twits show no respect for any one elses traditions. They want attention, that is easy to see but they are rude, disrespectful and apparently cannot turn off a media device, walk past a church, ignore long standing respectful national tradition or interpet U.S. History.

Those who stand before me and purposely try to intimidate me with stupidity are going to get a taste of my unchristian ways. "I have just began to fight"....JPJ

America is headed in the "WRONG" direction.

We look more like the fallen Roman Empire with each passing day.

You have GOT to be kidding me. But then I am not at all surprised. These Atheist and Humanist nutcases are always suing for one thing or another. This is just another bullet fired in their war against anything and everything even remotely related to Christ, Christianity, and religion in the US and its culture. When do we fire back and how?

Obviously they have no regard for 200+ years of tradition and ignore the undeniable Christian heritage of this nation and the Founding Fathers. All they care about, just exactly like the rabid, radical gay rights terrorists, is to force their agenda down the throats of all who oppose them, with the willing and able collusion of the MSM, the Dimocrap Party, and apathy on the part of believers and those who oppose them.

Whenever I hear about ridiculous lawsuits such as this by Atheists and other clueless liberal organizations, I just want to grab them by the neck and slap them around until I can shake or slap some sense into them. But they just don’t have it in them to believe in anything but their own delusional sins and reprobate lifestyle. Then I remind myself that they will get their due when they stand before the Judgment Seat of God and are sent to an everlasting lake of fire where they will spend the rest of eternity in Hell.

Lot of anger there isn’t there? Right now I feel like that guy in Network, who screams, “I’m mad as Hell and I’m not going to take it anymore!”
