It’s certainly not a well known portion of the Constitution, but it’s there, clear as crystal. From Article I Section 6 (http://www.usconstitution.n et/const.html#A1Sec6):N o Senator or Representative shall, during the Time for which he was elected, be appointed to any civil Office under the Authority of the United States which shall have been created, or the Emoluments whereof shall have been increased during such time; and no Person holding any Office under the United States, shall be a Member of either House during his Continuance in Office.

Congress raised the compensation for cabinet positions this past term, of which Clinton was a member; therefore, she technically can’t serve in the cabinet of the Executive branch. But this is not the first time this issue has arisen.

But can't you see that the rules do not apply to this incoming administration?

They do as they darn well please, the courts let them get away with it, and the crowds keep up their O-Ba-Ma chant.

Almost sounds like we are standing outside a kraal. We know they are in there partying. We know we are not invited. We can still hear their noise though.

May Hillary fly her broom into O-Force One and the debris come crashing down on Biden's Amtrack car and we will be free of all three of them.

The rule of law means nothing to these people. They have already shown it time and time again. They are absolutely evil.

They already seem perdition bent on shredding the Constitution.

If it is true that Obama wishes to challenge our "flawed" Constitution as was mentioned in the thread about the question of who has the "standing" to require his birth certificate, this then may be another issue to challenge it. Maybe that really is one of his main objectives: to tear down the Constitution.

It appears it was the Republicans who worked around this before which never should have been allowed to happen. Now it's given the Democrat's the way to work around it again.

Our Constitution should be strictly adhered to. It has served us well until activists decided it is a "living document". If we allow them to pick and choose it will become a meaningless piece of paper.
