I'm sure that we have all recognized an increase in media attention to issues relating to homosexuality. *Even on vacation I couldn't escape it. *As I drove from San Diego to Colorado Springs and back, nearly every AM radio talk show was addressing the issue.

I've also noticed that gay rights groups have been doing almost none of the talking, so why so much press? *In this forum alone, There were 9 new topics on homosexuality while I was away.

I don't care what you say about the media, their stories cater to the demands of the public. *So, why is there so much demand from the public about the issue?

Is it homosexual fascination with themselves?
Heterosexual fascination with homosexuality?
Christian fascination with sin?

It actually doesn't stop with the news, more and more shows are in demand with homosexual themes and characters.

I'd love to hear others idea about what's going on.

OK, here's my http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/twocents.gif

Judging by the turnaround in the polls it would seem that the heterosexual community has finally awakened to the homosexual activist movement's desire to change American life.

So no, it isn't heterosexual fascination with homosexuality. It's heterosexual awareness and realization of what is going on with that community.

As to the TV shows, that is your Gay activist community trying to take advantage of what they perceive as an advantage given to them by recent court decisions. It's a huge tactical mistake since heterosexuals are saying that they are sick of the "in your face" tactics that are going on now.

You've made the same miscalculation here, *matym. The more you said, the more disgusting the discussion got, the firmer people were in their beliefs.

People are willing to be tolerant as long as they don't have to see it. When they start seeing it everywhere their tolerance disappears. All this coverage is a good thing.

Btw, welcome back.
