It is by no means severe to point out that if leftists were wise and rational, they would not be leftists. Vladimir Lenin, the Soviet Union's first dictator and an icon of the left, aptly described its devotees as "useful idiots," owing to their enthusiastic and mindless devotion to causes that invariably would lead to their own destruction. Furthermore, it must be constantly reiterated that such minions only remain "useful" to the leadership as long as they remain, well, idiots.

A century has elapsed since Lenin's demeaning characterization of his most loyal followers. Yet the consistent applicability of that term has done little to enlighten the ongoing ranks of new applicants for the label. And as Election Day approaches, much of America seems perfectly willing to take its place among that ignominious assembly.

Poster from Mobile got the right quote. This country is turning upside down and backwards. Would that the "backwards" could take us to a saner, more intelligent populace but the "useful idiots" are aiding and abetting the infection of the body politic. The slugs in this country have spent most of their lives spending every cent they can get their hands on to keep up with those they envy for their homes, their cars, big screen home theaters and every game console known to man. They save not a cent and pile up huge credit card debt while ignoring (or tolerating) the rot within the country. Now we have a meltdown and it isn't just the mortgage mess................ .the whole credit industry is a mess.

As someone who has paid off two mortgages, one on my family residence and one on an income property, and has never ever used my home as a "piggy bank", who pays all credit card bills on time and in full every month. I have nothing but contempt for these people. Very few of my friends and acquaintances on the right have any money problems at the moment with the exception of our diminished IRAs and 401Ks........totally caused by all this reckless spending.

The left is completely blind to anything happening in this country and blithely bumble along endorsing every (touchy, feely) welfare program suggested. It appears that these people "think" with their hearts while conservatives think with their brains as everyone should. I'm afraid that conditions in this country will get a lot worse and there don't seem to enough voices on the right either capable of or willing to explain the current mess and who is really responsible for it!

Our republic will not survive an education system that is not teaching most of our young people, our national treasure, American heritage - civics, American history and related sub history courses, basic government, "readin, riting and rythmatic” Instead they are usurping parental responsibilities, teaching "entitlement mentality" providing sex education and condoms to our children, de-emphasizing discipline and competition, thus supporting false equality and mediocrity. I could go on but it makes me want to throw up! None are so blind as those who reuse to see.

Why hasn't America yanked every cent of foreign aid from those countries who despise us? Take it and don't give it back until they display a PROVEN track record with a few years of support for the cause of freedom. It worked with my kids - no help around the house, no allowance. It will work for those errant countries too.

Thus you see the sick logic behind the liberal and socialist takeover of the education system, both public schools and universities, set in motion long ago and achieved over years and years of infiltration. They sought to raise a nation of uneducated idiots that they could turn into the masses needed to blindly support the Obamanible Messiah when he came along. They buy the support of the masses with welfare and social programs, only to sell them out in the end when the socialist/communist takeover is complete. By then, thanks to their control of the education system, the poor downtrodden fools are too stupid to revolt or do anything about it and the communist reign is assured. We are not dealing with fools or idiots when we speak of the masterminds behind this takeover of America, they know exactly what they are doing and like terrorist, have been patiently doing it all along. Time was on their side. When we speak of fools and idiots we speak of the ones they brainwash into mindless followers who become the willing slaves of the system once it is in place.
