A Wisconsin-based pro-life group is urging Republican presidential nominee John McCain to counter an ad being aired by the Barack Obama campaign that warns voters McCain will overturn Roe v. Wade.

The campaign for the Democratic presidential candidate is airing an ad in key states such as Florida, Virginia, Iowa, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Colorado, telling female voters that John McCain "will make abortion illegal."

A nurse-practitioner who narrates the ad says: "Let me tell you -- if Roe v. Wade is overturned, the lives and health of women will be put at risk. That's why this election is so important. John McCain's out of touch with women today. McCain wants to take away our right to choose. That's what women need to understand. That's how high the stakes are."

Obama ads come after pressure from women's rights groups that the Illinois senator clearly identify himself as the pro-abortion candidate.

The libs have given us a virtual cornucopia of issues that need to be aggressively attacked. The gloves need to be pulled off and thrown out the window. MLK would be shocked to hear BHO promote this. Black people know that pro-abortion rhetoric is just a code-word for "Kill the black race off". This is the race I love and serve in Africa, making the Word of God come alive to them in the technicolor of their languages.

I don't think an ad is needed. BO has shared his viewpoint many times on abortion and how he feels. His viewpoint is based on ignorance of just when life begins. By his own admission, when life begins is "above his pay-grade".

By other decisions he has made, one would wonder rather he believes that life begins when the child is able to walk. :shake:
