Why does the RNC bother me I have told them again and agwin they I only supprt people and not the party. I give money to Bush 04 monthly partly because of job security partly i think he is doing a kick a** job with the except of not clossing the borders.

Late last month I got a call fromm the RNC *phone droon he asked me for money I said I do not support a party who runs lossers and crimeals like Jim Ryan and Bill Simon. I also stated that the Ill party is going to run a arab for senate and will not give monies if this is true.

I was on assigment until yesterday and did not get my mail. Last night why watching the angels finally win a game and playing the game of lets open the mail with the kids, another RNC letter appeared.

Again I opened it read like a scandle paper telling me if I dont give them monies the dems will rule DC. As we speaking my letter back to them states that, "money does not will elections good honest and intelligent politicans will election." I will work for the best man or women but not the whole party. So Mr chairman if you read this my check to bush 04 is in the mail, but to get a check for the RNC you will have to give me the witch bitches office on a silver platter."

Good for you Mark! Seriously. You are coming from exactly the place as I am. I support Republican, conservative candidates, but have lost most of my respect for the RNC. I would also sooner donate to my county or state GOP, where we truly are making a difference, than to the supposed "umbrella" organization who are out of touch with real Republicans. http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/twothumbsup.gif You go Brisk! http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

I like it when the RNC sends me requests for money because they always include a postage paid envelope. I invariably use their envelope to return a scaithing letter regarding Republican socialism and their failure to control either spending or the border. Sometimes I tape two pennies to the pledge card and sometimes I don't bother.

When I'm feeling especially frustrated, such as when Bush makes one of his all to frequent sojourns into socialism, I go to the RNC website, click on the contact us link, and list out Bush's many liberal transgressions and state my intention to abstain from voting for him.

I figure they need to hear it loud and often.

This is a tough neighborhood.

I usually stuff postage-paid envelopes with my other junk mail (to make em pay more!) for LIBERAL causes. Like Ben and Jerrys nasty socialist ice-cream offers with phone service.

I think one of my political buddies signed me up for a slew of liberal agenda stuff as a joke (and maybe NOT as a joke), and I get stuff all the time from the environmental nutcases, and even something from Rainbow Push every now and then.

But I'm not sure I'd return a Republican (Even RNC) mailing with junk - I'd just as soon throw it out than make the same party that WOULD support Bush ALSO lose the postage.

Am I being too much of a nit-pick on this one?

No, it sounds logical to me.

Floridaguy has the right approach. We need to build the party from the grassroots up.

I give to individual conservative Republican candidates who support my agenda.

Oh yeah! I'm in sync with this idea. With all the uproar about recalling Governor Doofus, there is a lot of whispering going around here that we need to dump the whole legislature.

I'm hoping that those whispers will turn into a roar. *Can you just imagine what we could accomplish if we could turn California around?

Floridaguy, Jaaack, wolf, navyblue, Terri. What you said, I would agree.
Grass is where it's at...I mean Grassroots. http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/boots.gif
I also give to my state party--not local yet.

Suggestion for the Team leader page. *Include state specific info that I can forward to my team members. *Local and state items can people's attention. *Like dumbdoyle wanting to raise property taxes. *If he truly was for the non-taxpaying, low-income people he espouses. he would not raise taxes, so a non-tax paying person like me could have more choices in dwellings that landlords haven't raised the rent on to compensate for higher property taxes. *http://gopusa.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif *</span></span>
