Well, I suppose he should resign.
Or was he fired?
Inquiring minds want to know. ;)

Resigns?
You'd think he would have been fired long ago. The only two things this guy did well in this campaign was to con the candidate and cash his paycheck. Of course, it would take more than the world's greatest campaign manager to steer through Hillary's gaffes and psychopathic lying behavior.
The Colombian treaty is a good one and should receive Senate approval. Hillary doesn't think so, but I can't believe that's what this is about. Its gotta be about Hillary trailing in vote count, delegates. and polling in remaining contests ...... and probably not enough money to pay Penn his salary.

You can bank on this one. Penn got fired because Billary is in a panic because she is losing to Obama. As Billary would say, "don't believe your lying eyes or the lying press or any other lies except for Hillary's lies which were just mis-remembering. :) Penn was fired by Hillary and Colombia.. I smell a PR rat. There is much more to this story.

Of course, it would take more than the world's greatest campaign manager to steer through Hillary's gaffes and psychopathic lying behavior. I like the 'psychopathic lying behavior' part, AJ. Remember though that Penn wasn't supposed to be presiding over a serious campaign, but had only to twiddle his thumbs until Queen Hillary's coronation. Ah well, the best laid plans of mice and men...

Penn Out As Clinton Senior Strategist (http://www.gopusa.com/news/2008/april/0407_penn_out1.shtml )

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) -- Mark Penn, the pollster and senior strategist for Hillary Rodham Clinton's presidential bid, left the campaign Sunday after it was disclosed he met with representatives of the Colombian government to help promote a free trade agreement Clinton opposes.
''After the events of the last few days, Mark Penn has asked to give up his role as chief strategist of the Clinton Campaign,'' campaign manager Maggie Williams said in a statement released Sunday. ''Mark, and Penn, Schoen and Berland Associates, Inc. will continue to provide polling and advice to the campaign.''
Communications director Howard Wolfson and pollster Geoff Garin will direct the campaign's message and strategic efforts for the campaign going forward, Williams said.
