I authored and submitted the following text and wish to share this with you. I am a devout Republican and will absolutely vote for Mr. John McCain for President.
I choose to share my thoughts and writings with you because, I am very serious about the plan outlined in the following writing. I have gained much support from fellow citizens and I feel this deserves your attention. I am not a prankster or a rebel rouser. I am a very concerned American Citizen with grandchildren who will inherit US positions and the manner in which our government exists; and frankly I am seriously concerned about programs being offered up by Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama

My idea pertains to illegal immigration and our continuation of a truly FREE SOCIETY where persons are allowed to create their own destiny; by working towards their goals. This includes the medical professionals where men and woman have dedicated their time, money, and studies to select the profession of their choice. To build their own business and to profit from it. What gives the government the right to tell them how to structure their business and who they can or must treat. It is their inalienable right that may not be taken away or transferred.
What our government has done is to provide Welfare Social Services for those who QUALIFY. Do you qualify because you choose not to work or you only elect to search out such programs, rather than use YOUR Freedoms to build a good life for yourself ? Absolutely not !!!!!
Why must those of us who made the best of our freedoms, sought out and paid for education, sought and pursued our careers, built our businesses and wealth by hard work; raised our families, and paid TAXES; now have to give up our freedoms of selecting what we feel is best for us medically, because of some who CHOSE not take the opportunities available to themselves. Or, because our system is way over abused by so many undeserving who do not legally have the right to exist in our country.
I know there are people truly in need, and to those people, I hope you appreciate taxes paid by others to afford services you would not otherwise have. Before you lose your temper to this statement, I know that many people did work prior to having to seek out welfare services. Thus you see your taxes at work. However, we should never have to be responsible to those people who have crossed our borders, abused our generous systems and are demanding more !!!! What have they contributed ? Do they bother to learn our language ? Do they take advantage of services that help provide work? No, they simply want what every American Citizen, that has busted their butts for years, has. AND they want it now ! Thus people like Hillary Clinton are striving to provide, with our hard gained money, services to everyone, without addressing the real problem !
This current problem takes services away from our CITIZENS; now those desperate citizens can't get what we collectively built up to provide them in times of economic distress.
WAKE UP AMERICA. Rather than taking inalienable rights away from those who have worked so hard, help us to change how our borders are managed, fight for what is rightfully yours by getting rid of illegal aliens. That is the first step in our ability to provide for US CITZENS. We do not need socialist medicine in our country. FIGHT TO CHANGE THE REAL CAUSE THAT PREVENTS YOU FROM GETTING SERVICES YOU NEED, and ,as a U S CITIZEN, deserve.

I am not suggesting that we close our borders to everyone. If a person of another country needs to or wants to come to our country to have the opportunity to WORK FOR/IN and CONTRIBUTE to our society as it is, by becoming working; tax paying citizens and earning the rights to be here, as each of us has earned, then

I propose the following:

Provide applications to those of other countries who request it.

In that application we must require a full disclosure of identification, any political and religious affiliation, any criminal behavior or previous incarceration, (where and why), how many family members are coming, what their intentions are for housing, work, profession, medical needs and how they intend to address them, education requirements or needs, what they have done for a living in their own country, do they already have family members here, and exactly why they choose to come to America? Any false information in any category on the application will mean an immediate denial.

The application must be made no less than 6 months prior to acceptance of entry and a full investigation of their application must be performed; prior to acceptance. A specific date, time and place for entry to our country will be assigned. A full disclosure as to place of residence or destination must be disclosed at time of entry. The applicant(s) must report to an immigration office, located near their destination, within 1 day of admittance. Failure to report means immediate expulsion.

The applicant(s) now have 6 months in which to find employment, permanent housing, register and take free, provided English/ US government classes and to clearly state their intention of becoming a US citizen and their commitment to our Laws, policies and rules.

A temporary Social Security number/ on specific legally issued cards will be issued for purposes of securing a job ,tax payer ID and residence address. This card must contain a picture on the front and finger prints on the back, with a clear description of the assignee. Any misuse, falsification of information provided or any attempts at altering the card will mean immediate expulsion.

Applicant(s) must report their progress on weekly reports and in person to their assigned immigration office. Failure to comply will mean immediate expulsion. These offices will be opened 24/7 to be able to comply with an immigrants work schedule.

The necessity for government assistance will be determined at the immigration office at the time of initial registration. A time limit will be issued for services rendered and an immigrant must show progress at achieving self reliance during this time period. Failure to comply will mean immediate expulsion, unless there is true and documented cause for the inability to comply.

Secondly, Those persons currently in the US, who have crossed the borders illegally or have over stayed their initial Visa dating, must report to an immigration office and complete the same application and must follow all of the above regulations. Any person found failing to comply will meet with immediate expulsion. If the application nets unfavorable results, this will be met with immediate expulsion.

Any employer knowingly harboring illegal immigrants will face a minimum of a $10,000 per day fine for each day it can be proved employment of the illegal existed and will face no less than a 5 years prison term.

Employers must maintain, on record, a copy of an immigrants social security card (front and back) during any course of employment. Failure to be able to provide this information when asked for, will result in a fine and or jail time until such time as the document can be produced. If the immigrant has failed to comply with the requirement of securing such a card, will meet with immediate expulsion.

This system will allow for knowledge of immigrant activity in our country and will provide the citizens of our country with some protection from terrorist activity within our borders. It will also help to ease the starin on our economy and help to be certain legal citizens have access to Welfare Services established for them.

Only when an immigrant has proven positive establishment within our borders and has proven themselves responsible for complying with our laws, regulations, policies and rules, will the stringent requirements be relaxed.
If during this time there is reasonable belief that underground, terrorist, or illegal activity has transpired or is transpiring, this will be met with immediate expulsion.

Our first level of defense is ourselves. For those of you needing medical attention, there are current programs available.
I have researched program after program.

Texas has one of the worst immigrant problems within our borders and also faces the highest percent of uninsured citizens. Texas also has many, many, many programs to help you and that you could easily get; but for your illegal immigrants.

No wonder so many of you look to Hillary to provide for you, however this simply opens the door wider for a socialist or communist government.

Did you know that Texas has free complete dental care? I know this because of a relative living in Texas that came to me for help. I found this program through my dentist in Indiana. There is a program where the State will pay half and a dentist donates the other half for ALL dental care. My relative applied and within one week she was sitting in the dentist chair; in Texas, having thousands of dollars worth of dental work done for FREE. And yes, she is an American citizen. This program exists in almost every State within our borders. I can't remember the site address right this minute, but if you do a general search under STATE PROVIDED DENTAL CARE, or PROGRAM, you will find it.

Our economy deserves a rest from supporting illegals and help in searching out and preventing terrorism. I think my plan has potential.

This entire post probably belongs in the "rants" section.

I have quoted a section above. It looks like you are just proposing another amnesty. Any illegal alien with a job gets to be a citizen.

You are proposing a massive new bureacracy which allows unlimited numbers of people to come after they have filled out an application.

Our current bureacracy has proven itself incapable of getting the people who are here now illegally to leave. Why would we have any reason to believe that after you have allowed unlimited numbers of guests to enter our country that our government will find the will to deport them after 6 months? It is an incredulous leap of faith.

In our economy low skilled workers earn very little and they will earn even less if you flood the market with even more low skilled workers coming in as guests. Almost all low wage earners are supplementing their earnings with public assistance which is the hard earned tax dollar of the middleclass. Low wage earners pay very little in taxes and consume more from the treasury then they contribute. They are getting things like food stamps, hot meals for their kids and the EITC. Given that half of your screed was devoted to bemoaning socialism, why would you want to import more low skilled workers and make them citizens who will vote for Democrats and more socialism while they burden taxpayers? We may need more immigrants (I doubt it) but we need the kind that contribute to our treasury, not leech on it.

Jack

Jack,

While I am not seeking to burden our economy with an influx of illegals and my suggestion is mearly a means to avoid additional, and truly ILLEGAL aliens into our country; I am also not a person trained in Legal jargon. My idea is just that, an idea.

I was in high hopes of getting additional wording or gain additional input to assist in developing a system that works much better than we have in place today.

One of my entries indicates that a registered alien has but 6 months to get him/herself in a position of self reliance. We currently have no guidelines or deadlines established to that end. In, addition, we currently have no strict system by which an illegal must report exact location or livelihood, therefore opening our doors to any number of terrorist or potential terrorist types.

I am absolutely for an immediate deportation of those failing to make every effort of self reliance. And just because a person qualifies, on paper, for entry to our country, does not excuse our responsibility, to ourselves, to control the income class that we will know wether or not our economy can stand and can afford to offer an extention of welcome to.

I ask you to once again review my input and rather than slam the entire idea, help us build on it, to establish a recommendation that could be presented to law makers.

Thank You

Vickie P
