You can bet your bottom dollar that when Obama and Clinton talk about “change” or “taking back our country”, both have something very special in mind, and it’s not what Mary and Joe Sixpack, their unsuspecting supporters may think.
Both Clinton and Obama have the same thing in mind, which is the same thing the Republican Party leadership has in mind whenever a presidential election takes place … whomever wins the election will be in charge of who will be hired and fired from countless political plum jobs created by the Washington Establishment over the past sixty years, and the function of most of these jobs is nothing more than to redistribute the paychecks taxed away from Mary and Joe Sixpack for purposes not being within the delegated powers granted to the federal government by the people via the Constitution of the united States.
To get a perspective on the ever expanding number of political plum jobs created by our folks in Washington, take a look at a 1956 telephone directory under federal government and you will find two pages of federal government offices. Look today and that two pages has exploded into a telephone directory that dwarfs the telephone directory size of many of America’s cities. But what is most astonishing when one realizes how large the federal government has grown over the past sixty years and how it now manages to stick its nose in and meddle into almost every aspect of Mary and Joe Sixpack’s private lives, is to read the words of James Madison in Federalist Paper No. 45 and then compare his words to the multiple listings for federal government agencies.
Madison tells us:
"The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite. The former will be exercised principally on external objects, as war, peace, negotiation and foreign commerce . . . The powers reserved to the several States will extend to all the objects which in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives and liberties, and properties of the people, and the internal order, improvement and prosperity of the State."
Having identified the intended functions of the federal government, intended to operate on external objects, as war, peace, negotiation and foreign commerce, here is a current A-Z Index of U.S. Government Departments and Agencies (http://www.firstgov.gov/Agencies/Federal/All_Agencies/index.shtml), click on any particular listing to find the numerous plum jobs created in that department, many of which have six figure salaries which are financed by taxing Mary and Joe Sixpack’s paychecks!
As an example, look at the abundance of political plum jobs listed under the United States Department of Education. But keep in mind public schools have been created under State constitutions and are explicitly to be funded by states taxes. There is no power granted to Congress to tax and spend for, or regulate, state constitutionally authorized public school systems, nor is there any power granted to Congress to tax Mary and Joe Sixpack living in Idaho to pay for the public school system in New York City. Indeed, the servant has become the master over those who have created a servant, and the new servant pays tribute to a gangster government which ignores our most basic law…our constitutions, state and federal.
But getting back to the federal Department of Education, that department happens to have approximately 5000 federal political plum job employees with excessive salaries, top of the shelf medical plans, and an outrageous pension program, all of which Mary and Joe Sixpack living in Idaho can only dream of having but will be gouged by federal taxation to finance. In addition, Obama and Clinton must know the Federal Department of Education now has a annual budget of about $ 67 BILLION, which was the entire federal budget in 1955. And, the sad truth is, public education just happens to be a state constitutionally authorized function, not a federal function, and yet, the people of Idaho are being taxed by the feds in addition to being taxed by their state government to fund a state constitutionally authorized function. In the process 5000 employees at the federal department of education become privileged campers, while Mary and Joe are nothing more than convenient tax slaves used to finance the Washington Establishment and its millions of federal political plum job holders.
But now, let’s examine our 5000 political plum job holders at the federal Department of Education who are rewarded quite well by Congress for doubling as Congress’s foot soldiers during federal election time.
