Does anyone seriously think Ron Paul has the right stuff to be leader of the Free World?

I would like smaller government and considerably lower taxation. I'd like a lot less regulation in our everyday lives.

The world has changed since this country was founded and we can't be an isolationist nation. We need a strong military and strong border control.

I'd like to see foreign aid going to nations who need help recovering from disasters and not ending up in some dictators back pocket to increase their power.

We didn't get where we are today overnight and we can't turn back the clock. We could, over time, work to make the federal government smaller by abolishing certain departments and returning powers back to the states. It would take years of hard work to get the votes necessary to make these changes.

Ron Paul does make some good points but he is too radical and would be a terrible president. He reminds me of the crazy uncle no one wants to admit having in their family.

Even a crazy person can sound sane once in a while.
